Deep in his RAS OVerride induced coma, Truth soaked in his VR captain's chair, listening to the guards' communications chatter in one ear and the team in the other. The dinner table, two views of the parking lot, the emplaced machinegun, and the data traffic between the optical tap and the chokepoint node all hover in front of his virtual eyes like the array of trid screens in the electronics section of an appliance store.

The LEBD on the far side of the facility remains motionless, doing its' best to pretend to be park of the roof, its' lethal armament trained on the seated soldier.

The LEBD over the restaurant hovers, stationary, watching the parking lot like a hawk, its' electronic eyes waiting for its' prey to dart from cover.

Charlie gave a soft grunt of annoyance, and then settled in to wait for the elctronic part of the team to do their thing. If they were able to do it right, the team would have access to the data without even needing to go inside, and they could certainly intercept and block calls for help. That was worth the wait, even if it meant Charlie had to be both running on adrenaline, and bored out of her mind with waiting. Charlie decided she was going to get herself a virtual pet to make stuff like this wait more enjoyable if for no other reason. She spent her wasted hour thinking about what exactly it would be, and what features it should have. Honestly, she needed an agent, so she could totally kill two boards with one stone by linking a virtual pet, and maybe virtual persona into the agent. Maybe she'd make the pet look like a mini-dragon, or an Spirit.

As Truth's LEBD-1 dives towards the woods across the road to the east, weapon trained on the front door, skin fading into the shadows. Now finding a line of fire as given him a good shot but poor cover the only things hiding his drone is chameleon coating and the dark of night. Thanks goodness that the masses are in bed right now.

Data Theft Team
DD & Jack Persona's load on to the node and before you is a Quarter Deck with the UCAS flag in on corner and a podium standing in the middle of the room and on the podium is a log you see from the log you need a passkey so you time is short. Standing behind the Podium is what looks to be a solider but with your perceptive eye you see it's a Renraku Oniwaban IC program. There are also two others hidden in the node that you see patrolling around. there are two door behind the solider. One door says "Generals Office" the Other "Security".

This node is sculpted like a research lab with a production floor with everything in here one would need to develop a drone, mech, vehicle, just about anything. There on one wall is the layouts and stats on 14 nanoforges busily working away at there tasks and two Assembly lines putting together all the nanoforges hard work into a work of perfection. there are eight separate sections of the lab, one for each production line, and one supervisor section. Again you see three Renraku Oniwaban patrolling the node and you need a Linked Passcode (RFID) here too.

DD looks around, noticing the three patrolling ICs as she gets ready to browse for the files they need.

Let's hope Jake's stealth program holds up... better than what I was using before, but is it good enough?

With that thought, her icon, looking like a soldier in a white lab coat, starts browsing through the files.

DD doesn't think (or tries not to) about the other part of the run, and that acquiring the data they need will spell doom for the woman currently eating dinner with her sister.

You fade from VR with Jake by your side. Looking at each other in "that was to close" sort of way. Looking down at your commlink you see you still have you paydata. Now the not so fun part has to be dealt with.

Seconds later the flood lights come on and the soldiers jump into action they start patrolling the fence line looking for intruders with the exception of the emplacement gun. The spirits materialize and add in searching the compound.

At the time that everyone started yelling at the wetworks team the Doctor just stepped out the front door with her group. The Doctor leads the group with her date in arm. The drone has a clear line of fire the rest of the team would have to exit the vehicle to get a clear shot or to engage.

Waiting until Jake had Jacked-out, Gecko pulled the cable from his comm-link. He didn't waste time disconnecting the tap, merely sprayed it and the cable liberally with C-Squared. He unclipped and stashed the rope and made his way back the way he had come dosing each pillar that he had touched with the cleaning solution.

He placed the micro-drone and the repeater in the hole in a waterproof pocket and slipped stealthily into the water.
