The foregrip and sling weapon mods don't stack in the generator, when they are specifically stated as stacking in Arsenal.

The following armor modifications use up incorrect amount of capacity in some armors;
Chemical Protection
Fire Resistance
Insulation
Nonconductivity
Thermal Damping

Missing the Valkyrie Module and Mimic Modification vehicle mods.

The price of the Body Stabilizer and Electromagnetic Shielding mods are multiplied by body when they shouldn't be by RAW.

Changing the starting resources in the campaign settings to more than 250,000¥ doesn't change the resources drop down field.

Is it inteded that metavariants cost 2xBP, even when you choose 1xBP option, becouse that makes for some really wierd situations.

Actually i guess it is, as their counted under other races right?
If so would it be hard to implement a 1xBP option for other races too, i mostly ask as pay the BP cost in karma for a race is the one devs have been talking about on the subjects of RC errata.

Read aresenal. There are two different armor modification rules. One is the standard which gives you a capacity = highest bal/imp rating times 1.5, and each install takes 1 capacity per rating, default of 1.

The system in Arsenal is for Full Armor suits, which is what the sheet reflects. Armor suits and helmets follow a capacity cost table listed in arsenal.

Starting resources limit only affects error highlighting, it does not add values to the drop down, and wont. Its really meant to restrict the starting money, not increase it.

Umm... They cost or they dont. That is all the sheet supports. Are you asking for a change?

Damienknight,

I've just recently found your spreadsheet, and it looks awsome, though as a newcomer, finding version "k" with the front page drop-down selections broken, it is making it difficult for me to jump into it.

Any idea when "L" will be ready for prime time?

Not trying to rush you or anything, just itching to take the sheet out for a spin.

Great work BTW, honestly with so much work, it could only be a labor of love.

I must have misread it then.

And I was kind of hoping you'd be up for expanding the possible dropdown for starting resources (or making it an entry box for how many BP are being put into resources) so others could make higher BP characters with it as well.

And what of these issues and the foregrip/sling?

A dinosaur in software terms, Excel 2000, on a Windows 7 system. Is my old software the issue? I was hoping it wasn't. I noticed another user at the top of p.58 has the problem too. Does the latest Open Office work with it?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

What happened to the auto-injector? It doesn't seem to be available in the latest incarnation of the generator.

Yes i think I am, mostly this is a problem with metavariants as it doesn't make any sense that making an elf character into a Wakayabi cost 40karma more.
Or you could just include the metavariants into standart races, which ever is easier to do, but i think the BP-cost in karma will be the official rule when the RC errata comes out so adding that option for other races too might be the wiser choise.

Did the auto-injector get left out of the generator? I've looked around everywhere on the generator for it.

Although the L version hasn't been posted, the K version was it's immediate predecessor.

Well at least its more recent than the one I had before!

I checked out the character generator and it looks AMAZING! One thing though is that I can't figure out how to make it factor in the free knowledge points, is there something I should be doing in order to have those NOT count against my BP? An older chargen I had did that automatically but the one I downloaded yesterday does not...unless I forgot one of the settings?
It also says I am something like 30 BP over my 400 otherwise...but that might just be because when I originally made the character without the charGen I did the math wring.

Otherwise? Superb! Thanks for the help and the wonderful character generator!

DK, as always great work. One thing that has popped up for me is when I add karma after the initial build and attempt to use it, it does not subtract karma for lanuages or knowledge skills increased. I have changed it to false under character creation and it does subtract the correct karma for active skills increased. Did I mess something up or are other people having this issue?
Thanks

Ok...where is the L version? The front link still says K. Also, I noticed that the Influence Skill Group costs 20 BP per rank and not 10...it took me a while to find this as the problem since one of my friends characters was being transferred and came up as too high in BP...dunno if that is fixed in L or not, but I found it in K

Thanks!

That's what I figured....Thanks anyhow

EDIT: I don't mean to sound like a nitpicker, I just seem to fall across things. Is there a way to add custom designed spells? For instance, my friend has a spell called frostbolt, which is basically just supposed to be cold damage in the form of an elemental LOS spell....but if I type it in, it of course says Drain is #N/A. I get around by putting notes in the spells name so he can tell, but is there a way to add spells and if not, will there be in L? Even if I have to manually calculate and enter drain is fine, nothing too fancy...

As I said, don't mean to be a nitpicker and sorry if I seem like one because I honestly think this is a wonderful contraption for hekping to make characters and I love it so much...

People respectfully suggesting ways to improve the sheet (like you just did) and reporting bugs are why this sheet is so good (and why this is post #1473 on page 59 ^_^). Keep up the good work, Mr. Mage.

Well it does pull all of those spells from a hidden table so you could add that spell in there(i think there are intruction on how to acces those tables somewhere in the 15 pages)
But first sheck if the list allready includes a spell called frost, thats the name given in street magic for a singletarget cold spell, i would sheck my self but the generator currently crashes my home exel.
