BTW, would it be possible to have gear (etc) from War! marked as such? Some groups (such as my own) won't be using the book, due to it's questionable nature.

Just checking. So much stuff that is outright broken (cough, Softweave armor, Slow spell) that if it's going to be in the sheet should be obviously labeled.

The Burnout's Way does not work. There's a #N/A in Magic!M23 and Magic!M34
Also, it lacks the choice (and effect) of either Cyber- or Bioware discount. It's supposed to function the same way Biocompatability does.

in Wares_Data T448 and U448, the values for cyberlimb armor are wrong. They say 6, but should be 1 !?
in Cyberparts!O11 and O12 it should not say ROUND. Cyberlimb armor is not rounded like cyberlimb attributes. It counts with its complete, summed value.

Ill look into the Burnouts Way.

Since the system divides by 6, 6 = 1. I have left the individual limb armors because the printable Sheet displays the armor per limb (in addition to showing the total in Armor area) for called shot purposes.

The price for Autosofts isn't being calculated properly. As it is, the price is rating * 500, for all ratings. It should be rating * 500 for ratings 1 to 3, and rating * 1000 for ratings 4 to 6 (howerver, autosofts have a maximum rating of 4).

There is something really weird going on in the recoil compensation for custom firearms.

Take an Ares Alpha (RC: 2)
Add a foregrip (RC: 1) then a personalized grip (RC: 1).
Total RC: 4, so far so good.

Not sure what's going on for you, Traul, but I just did the same as you described on a sheet and the RC still came up as 4 on both; order of the mods didn't matter. Might want to double check your copy is fully up to date, and if it is try closing and relaunching the program and try this again from scratch.

I am using version t and double checked. If you don't get this bug, then it must be a compatibility problem with OpenOffice.

Awe crap, just realized I responded to the wrong thread.

Added: Well, I honestly don't know if it's going to be version t or OpenOffice as I still have version p (haven't updated since switching to Chummer) & use Excel 2007. Anyway, I still could not duplicate your issue as both Ares Alphas came up with an RC of 4 in every single box for custom ranged weapons regardless of which order Foregrip and Personalized Grip were added.

Just tried with versions K and L that I still had somewhere, and could not reproduce the bug with them either.

However I have just downloaded a new copy of version T to make sure and I still get the bug with this one.

Well then, it is looking to me that it's version t that's causing this. Can't confirm this as I won't submit an e-mail address to download a copy of version t from the current host.

The autosofts are correct on the Vehicles page, but apparently the Gear page autosofts were all crazy. Anyway, fixed in the next version.

Not a safe assumption, as I do not think I changed any weapon mods functionality in version t.

Sorry about the download email thing. Like I said before, Mediafire and Filedropper stopped working from my worksite. If someone is feeling extra helpful, they could upload a copy of the file to Mediafire and provide the link.

Also, this is what junk email accounts are for. I have a real email address at gmail that I give out sparingly, then a total junk email address at hotmail that I use for BS like this. Its really easy to do, and really a must if you want to avoid spam.

I am not claiming it comes from version T. It could have been introduced in an earlier one. As I said, the latest version I had before was L, so that's a large gap.

Could you reproduce the bug?

Yeah, I saw that about the hosting and all. And though it's not a safe assumption, the only other is OpenOffice, but when prior versions of the sheet work fine in the same program it's the only thing that makes sense with the info I have at hand.

BTW, would it be possible to have gear (etc) from War! marked as such? Some groups (such as my own) won't be using the book, due to it's questionable nature.

THen you are missing on a lot of good stuff in the process, like mines and battle rifles(both very welcome additions to the game).

My games are overpowered enough as it is, we don't need to add 2 to everyone's DV and 6 to everyone's armor. We don't need monofilament grenades and slow spells. We're already rocking it with the best of them.

That's kind of unfair. You're banning everything from War! because some things from War! are broken?

Isn't it enough that you can not take the Slow spell because it's the Slow spell. Do you really need a special 'War!' tag just so you can specifically discriminate against the content in it, not on its individual merits, but because of what book it's in?

Like, hypothetically, if you were my GM, I couldn't have an Ares Bravo or an Ares Sierra because you hate Slow and Softweave?

If for some reason this character generator is marking the name of the book that EVERY option is found in than....disregard this silly post entirely. But if this is some kind of special yellow star (lol Godwin's) for options introduced in War! than the post stands.

There's absolutely no way to do this in WAR.
If you mean High Power Chambering, then thats stop you from using anythink other then High Power Ammo.

Actually now that i looked around in the generator, i don't seem to be able to find mines anywhere.

We've banned the book because we pretend it doesn't exist. It was poorly written, has several items that are clearly nothing other than power creep, among other things.

Cyberskates are a situational modifier, so I left them out. I suppose I could write it so the walk/run/FLY would replace FLY with SKATE... Ill look into this.

Edit: Added this in. Sheet now has a 'modSkate' value of running movement x 1.5 if you have cyberskates. This stacks with Raptor Cyberleg movement mods if the character has both.

The charsheets have three spots for movement, walk/Run/ and other, which is either Fly or Swim. Now Skate is an alternative, but the sheet checks for the ability to fly or swim FIRST, and only displays Skate speeds if the character cannot already Fly or Swim. The priority of which type of alternative movement it displays can be changed on the charsheets themselves, in the cells that display the alternative movement type and its speed.
