Very nice sheet, makes character generation about a billion times easier. Thanks for making this! I have one suggestion for a house rule that can be switched on or off. Some people, us anyway, play with a rule where racial attribute bonuses are ignored for the purpuse of increasing attributes. Ie instead of it costing 15 karma for a human to raise his/her edge to 3 from 2, it only costs 10. The same as from 1 to 2. If this could be switched on or off in both karma character generation and advancement, that would be really nice. I think it's a bit of niche request, I don't know how many people play with this rule (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Anyway, thanks for providing this for the community, can only imagine how much work has gone into it. Actually, this i a great rule everyone should at least consider. I would appreciate implementation as well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) +1 Let's make it +2. Great houserule. Your voices are heard. I have added 'Racial Attributes Easy Raise' as a houserule. This will do as above, factoring out racial mods to attributes before calculating karma cost. It does the same for infection attribute bonuses. Look for this feature in the upcoming version 1u. |

Awesome. Thank you.
A question: The bonding cost for weapon foci have been set to Force x 5. I've done some googling and can't seem to find when this was done. Is this an official errata or change? Where is it from? |

In SR3 and SR4 the bonding cost for weapons was 3 + weapon reach x force. In s4a they changed that to simply 3 x force. Not sure why the sheet is Force x 5, but I have fixed that for the next version. |

Due to a post I made over on the other side, could we get a checkbox/thingy for if a spell has a fetish? I've been using the notes system inside excel to keep track of it, but it would be nice if it was just a checkbox there on the sheet that would also take care of the cost too (rather than taking space on the gear sheet).

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Was there anything else? *Think think* Oh, I noticed a weird issue (but haven't tried to repro it) with paying off debts. If you put in the full amount of the debt owed, the boxes hide themselves (this is fine), but if you then edit the paid amount below the owed again, the debt box doesn't re-show itself. Might've been a fluke, I didn't look into it very closely I'd also suggest some kind of debt tracking...thingy, but I don't think it's possible, due to the fact that the interest would be arbitrary based on the amount paid off (arbitrary amounts over time). So I've been using the karma sheet for the interest payments. Only other thing I can think of is a similar box to the fetish checkbox that's filled in based on mentor spirit, as the mentor spirit is off the page for most monitors (requiring scrolling), but not a terribly critical. |

I think even the MS Works spreadsheet is able to do it |

That does sound like a fluke, as the conditional formatting is based on the status of your repayment, so any changes would revert the formatting back to show your debt. I dont know about checkboxes... maybe I could track what types of spells you have bonuses for and reflect that on the charsheet? |

Actually, Excel has been used for calculating things like loans and mortgages for *years*. I think even the MS Works spreadsheet is able to do it Not in a single box it doesn't. For example, try reflecting "current debt balance" based on the initial debt value (single box), plus "number of months rent" (single box) and "amount paid off" (single sum). You can't. If you have 10,000 debt, pay of 2000, then a month of time passes (the player increments "months passed" in their lifestyle sheet from 0 to 1), the debt is now 8800. Now I pay off 600 (8200), and increment the "months passed" counter. The correct value on the debt will be 9020, but there's no way for the sheet to calculate that. It'd have to know that 2 grand was paid off prior to any interest, and 600 was paid off with 1 interest calculation, and all the sheet knows is that intrest has to be calculated twice and that a total of 2600 was paid back (encompasses all values between 8954 and 9500, inclusive). That does sound like a fluke, as the conditional formatting is based on the status of your repayment, so any changes would revert the formatting back to show your debt. Figured. QUOTE I dont know about checkboxes... maybe I could track what types of spells you have bonuses for and reflect that on the charsheet? Whatever works for you. I don't use the printable sheets. |

Damien, might I suggest adding a page to the workbook *just* for finances, such as debts, savings, investments, etc, kind of like Wordman's character sheets had? |

Awesome feedback culture here, Damien.
Something i always found was missing were the "Code of Conduct" qualities out of RC, like Semper Paratis. Did you leave them out intentionally? |

Just keeps getting better and better (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Fantastic work, as always, Damien. I cant seem to find the Dassault Paynal from Mil Spec Tech, did that get missed or is Mil Spec Tech not included yet? And what is the "sg" abbreviation for the Books column? EDIT: Found a small typo. For the Adept Power Mind Over Matter (INT for AGI), the description says "Use Intelligence instead of Agility" However Shadowrun uses Intuition instead of Intelligence. Does anyone have information on this? |

A typo in the gun list: the Defiance EX Shocker (SR4A, p. 317) fires in SS mode, not SA.

Just keeps getting better and better (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Fantastic work, as always, Damien. Added Dassault Paynal. I had not added any vehicles from Mil Spec Tech yet. I added about 5 of them in version u, including the one requested. Can your runners afford these vehicles!?I cant seem to find the Dassault Paynal from Mil Spec Tech, did that get missed or is Mil Spec Tech not included yet? Also, the sheet now calculates the difference between your base attributes and gives you a physad bonus to make the Mind over Matter abilities actually show their effect on your modified stats. A typo in the gun list: the Defiance EX Shocker (SR4A, p. 317) fires in SS mode, not SA. Fixed in version u. Thanks for noticing this.Awesome feedback culture here, Damien. Good luck with figuring out the type of those vehicles (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) Would be nice if they put in a note about that... I took me a while to realize the tanks in mil spech tech are LAVs. That is pretty awesome.

Damien, might I suggest adding a page to the workbook *just* for finances, such as debts, savings, investments, etc, kind of like Wordman's character sheets had? Shameless plug: They still do. Check my link in my sig. I updated them after getting his permission. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Back to topic: Thanks for keeping up the amazing work, DK. |
