Factory-installed features do not take up any of the items available modification slots, & thus do not give any back if you remove them. Removing them, however, should be possible. Feel free to modify your 'Vehicles_Data' and 'Gear_Data' pages to add customized versions of existing vehicles with the notes/stats changed. |

While I like this approach, it is not RAW. AFAIK there is no way to create items from scratch. BTW how did you come up with the stats for the different weapons? The existing guns vary widely enough in many of the categories that I think your values are pretty arbitrary. They are modeled after SR3 gun building weapon bases. They are not arbitrary... they are very logical. If you don't like them, don't use them. But enough of this here, I opened a new thread there. The Adept Power "Power Throw" (SR p. 179) does not influence the ranges of melee-weapons. Ranges did not factor in Power throw. I modified the range table in 'Gear_Data' to reflect Power Throw. Look for this in the next version.
I've got an Adept with Strength 7 and Powerthrow 2. So the strengths for reach and damage of weapons is to low, because the Strength with the Power is 11 instead of 7. |

The Mentor Spirit dropdown is locked.
Uncouth isn't doubling social skill costs. Cram still isn't listed under Drugs (among other things). |

The Mentor Spirit dropdown is locked. Uncouth isn't doubling social skill costs. Cram still isn't listed under Drugs (among other things). Unlocked Mentor Spirit Dropdown. Added attribute column to Complete_Active_Skills_Table, then added 'if CHA attr *2, else *1' to active skills cost. Duplicated Dope and renamed to Cram. If anyone would like more details on any of the Gear list, please provide specfics (ie, availability, cost, etc) Also, Added the optional Infection variations from (rc). Added astral projection testing for Astral Init calc (for export in SRSchema_v4, not used in sheet currently). |

Several qualities are missing, including (but probably not limited to):
Outdoorsman (rc) Obscure (uw) More-than-Metahuman (uw) Otherwise, love the product. Keep up the good work. Imp |

This problem has to do with Text formatted cells from .xml. See my earlier response. This is fixed in the next version. Is there anything I can do about the constant crashing? On a related note - I find that this crashes pretty constantly on my old laptop (Windows XP SP2) but runs beautifully on my less old Desktop (Windows Vista). Both are running Open Office. (It runs even better at work where I can use Office 2007, but work gets in the way.) Phenomenal project, by the way. Kudos. |

The computer Im running is an older laptop, I havcent had a chance to test it out on my home PC yet which is far better than this laptop. I also have a full-blown copy of Office there so I'll test that when I get home |

Damien, I'd recommend using the SR4A errata, as obtained here.

Or even better a switch to specify if the old (Errata 1.(IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) or new rules are used.

Actually... could it be possible to let the user specify what costs how much to raise? That would be nifty.

You could also add a new dropdown that all other changed data refers to. Label it "Errata Version", and depending on the item determines the fields it's pulling data from. Does it significantly increase the project size and complexity? Yeah, but it's the only way I know off the top of my head to make it perfect for everyone, without having completely separate files (which may be easier).

I'm having some troubles on lifestyle costs. I'm running it in open office 3.0.1 and costs remain at 0 regardless of the number of months, or lifestyle put in, the same occurs with the advanced lifestyle tabs. I put in various values, and it doesn't alter the cost.
I checked the formatting on the cells where you input the months purchased, and the months passed, both had a format of accepting text, so it wouldn't calculate in open office the number of months remaining so it remained at 0. By changing the format to accept numbers it seems to fix the problem. The odd thing is, it seems to only do this on my desktop(Windows XP with open office) while my laptop it works perfectly well on(ubuntu with open office). |

I will modify things to allow for errata, but some things can be controlled by the player. Ie. I will update the arrows cost, but may leave Bows with str 9+... you would just have to not select bows that are declared illegal by your Errata loving group.I got a new laptop yesterday and will be spending alot more time in Open Office, so hopefully I will track down the source of all the crashing. I may choose to stop supporting scripting through Excel... have not decided yet. |

I don't know that much about how to make things in excel, so i'm dont know what are causing these but here is what i have discovered so far for version 9j:
-Dracoforms dont count the cost of magic unless they have adept/magician/mystic adept. They should be able to do so without taking those qualities (though why you wouldnt is beyond me...) -In the gear section, on every second line the quantity box wont accept numbers as the number "is not valid" -Adept powers will not allow the selection of any multi-level abilities above 1, or even entering 1 in level, stating that they need to <=magic, even if magic is higher than 1. -Missing negative qualities from unwired: Data Shadow 5BP/Level, max 3 levels. Media Junkie 5BP/Mild, 10BP/Moderate, 20BP/Severe, 30BP/Burnout. Vitual Personality 5BP/Level, max 3 levels. |

In 9j, running Excel 2003, I can not add complex forms.
Any number I enter (for either BP or Karma) for the rating of the complex form causes the Complex Form Rating modal dialog to pop up. |

In the Knowledge Skills section, what do the prefixes AK, BK, IN and SW mean?

Ooo... K. How come the only one of those designations that actually appears in the rulebook (you know, the book you consult while making a character) is Interests?
