I'd rather voice my thoughts now, and maybe have an effect, than complain later when it's done.

Ah, ok.

Honestly, it wasn't that hard to get my players to the second half. Must just be me.

My players didn't want to see what was on the disc, and when I tried having a third party contact them with an offer to buy the disc, they said no even with a very generous offer.

Also, I guess another adventure besides "On the Run" in the boxed set. It's a good adventure (even if most people won't ever see the 2nd half of it without some tweaks), and it's got golden advice for new GMs, but (selfishly) I've already got one, you see...

It's great as a GM aid, but only so-so as a module. You yourself pointed out one of the major reasons. I also had major technical issues with the pdf, you can read all about it here. Kudos to Adam for his help, though.

Their loss. My players were greedy bastards, screwed Mr. Johnson and sold the disc to the highest bidders.

The upcoming e-books mentioned in the chat magic add on and NYC guide. Will these be free downloads? Reason I ask was the mention of some sort of paid material being offered in the future during a past chat.

Any plans to do a "Holostreets" as a subscription model, like WotC tries/tried/failed to do?

We still want to launch a subscription Shadowrun service, and plans for it move ... slowly.

This set of ebooks will be pay-as-you-go, although we might do a subscription/bundle for the Shadowrun Missions series [Adventures + New York Sourcebooks]. Sitting down and crunching some numbers on that is on the TODO list this week.

Pay-as-you-go might work best, you'd avoid the problem of how to handle back issue access for new subscriptions.

It looks great!

Hey my confidence about CG's creativity just raised after the negative threads I readed about before.

Good job
