No biggy, Just wanted to let you guys know I was still around. Would you like me to write something about Hals Departure as we discussed or just let it play out?

No biggy, Just wanted to let you guys know I was still around. Would you like me to write something about Hals Departure as we discussed or just let it play out? Since we are coming to his introduction next week, I think if you just write up the story and PM it to me, I will award a Plot point for it. If you want I can post it later in OOC, or keep it private if you prefer. I've decided that the option we had discussed earlier is not a good idea to be true but is a great red herring. Pick any of the other ones you like the best. |

Question for the GM: Does 7,000 sound fair? Sound like he's shorting us? Sound like we're being overpaid for the task?

Question for the GM: Does 7,000 sound fair? Sound like he's shorting us? Sound like we're being overpaid for the task? Darn, was going to make a smart comment about the likelyhood of being overpaid by Badger, but then I realized it could be because the job is going to be way harder than advertised. |

If you can make the ship fly with spit an bailing wire you are being handsomely paid... if not the bottom line seems skinnier and skinnier. The Pearl has not been maintained in over 3 months, she is one of those ships that needs the TLC of the engineer or she lets you have it right in the wallet, and while Li is somewhat skilled at simple repairs, he is no Bruce. He also seems to be consistantly broke so he would have had very little money for spare parts.
However the promise of the pink slip back in your hands is work more than any amount of cash they can throw at you. |

People might want to be careful using the descriptor red-headed woman to self indicate or indicate a character since there's more than one red head aboard. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) in fact we have a fairly balanced crew it seems genderwise, although you guys seem to have way too good-looking a female group there (I could maybe help out the males, sans JJ, purty themselves up for a fee...).
Looking forward to settling into the first mission. |

Not my fault my character may or may not have the attractive advantage (She does.... I think... been too long since I've looked over her sheet.)

"Whatever her exact ancestry, it has merged together well in Fae, her brown hair flowing down to the small of her back, framing a face that the most begrudging would call 'cute', and the more smitten would call 'angelic'. Her thin curvy body likewise tends to draw comments in the range of 'fine' to 'damn fine'. What she chooses to cover her body with varies often, though it is usually something that has that perfect mix of revealing to catch the eye, and cover to keep it wondering. Tank tops are a favorite of hers, often leaving her midriff bare."
I'd say this puts you into the good looking female crew category. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/love.gif) |

(I could maybe help out the males, sans JJ, purty themselves up for a fee...). Ha! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Some of us don't need to look purty. Soldiers don't need to look purty. Ruffians and that sort. Our mechanic. etc. Even the ship doesn't need to look purty. As Captain Braylock has said too many times for me to count, "She don't need to look purty - she just needs to fly purty." Or something. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Hehe, I can see it now.
Braylock is talking to Tatjana, walks into the engine room and sees wires hanging all over the place. "What the hell happened here? Bruce!" Braylock rushes around the ship looking for his mechanic. Meanwhile Tsan is sitting on the edge of her bed with Bruce sitting in front of her, having his hair played out. "You have such lovely hair" she says to him "Would you like me to put it up? I'm sure the pilot would agree." "Who? Fae? No... it's just.. do you think it looks better up?" Bruce replies. "We can try it and see. Maybe we'll even get wild later and wash your face." At that moment Braylock walks into the shuttle "Bruce? What the hell happened in the engine room? Were there monkeys? Some terrifying space monkeys get loose?" |

ARRRGGHHHHH!!!! Gouge my eyes out now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif) The funniest part is that I can't find a full description of Bruce so I have no idea if he is bald or what. P.S. 1. Sorry if my writing gets weird. I tend to emulate the style of whoever I'm reading at the moment, and right now I'm in the middle of the complete series of 'Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy' 2. If you need a 'Drunk to English' translation or a 'Guide to What the Heck She is Talking About' please feel free to ask. |

@karaden: I've been around enough drunks to know roughly what you are talking about. Me personally and JJ. Thought the writing style sounded familiar. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Shame Douglas passed on.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Shame Douglas passed on. Glad it's coming off well. I don't drink really and don't hang out with drunks so I'm going mostly from movies and such. And yeah, I figured it showed some. I've had to rewrite big chunks of various posts because I realized I was getting almost as crazy as him with the writing. |

Yup. With the current post rate, it won't really matter, but I am going to be on a trip Sat-Tues, and thus lack internet.
My Christmas holidays run from the Dec 19-Jan12, and I will be unreliable the entire time. I'm studying in Europe for a year (I'm Canadian) so I am going to take advantage of the break to travel. A lot. |

Sorry about that, was mostly waiting for DV, Bruce, to go, as Fae currently needs him to move properly.
