OK, finally scraped together the cash & picked up Runners Companion last weekend. Left me pretty much broke for a couple of days, but I am so enjoying it. I've recently developed the habit of reading the fiction on the chapters' pre-face first, to get the feel of the book. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
But the first thing that caught my eye was the opening fiction to "Survival Tips", the 5th paragraph ended like this: The officers pulled and then it jumped to the next paragraph. Something got cut & I was wondering what it was. |

When was the street date release? I called my local gaming store yesterday and they did not have it in.
Also, was there ever a preview posted on http://shadowrun4.com/ |

Looks like it should've just been deleted all together to me.

Also, was there ever a preview posted on http://shadowrun4.com/ From the very site you linked: "Runner’s Companion has been available to retailers since August 19th!" Here's the links: Preview & The Truth |

Wow! Where have I been. Man time flies.
As for the preview, I thought I read the Dragon stuff was an April Fool's thing. "Wow. This has been so much more fun than I ever thought it would be when the idea originally hit me. Yes, people, the “Runner’s Companion Preview (and the Dragon and Obsidimen PCs in it) was our annual April Fools’ offering. Sorry to disappoint those of you who liked the idea." Guess I'll have to call them again to see when they are planning on getting more in. |

Drakes != dragons. Well, not quite. They're more like lizards than a dragon.

Drakes != dragons. Well, not quite. They're more like lizards than a dragon. Unless youre a troll drake. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) The dragons shouldnt have been a joke. Simple spell and theyre as metahuman looking as the rest of us. |
