So was going through the maneuvers, and wanted to run some stuff past you. I'm looking for maneuvers that a ranged character could use.

Multi Attack: "apply a +1 dice pool modifier to the total dice pool whenever the character attacks more than one opponent in the same action."

So, if a ranged character was dual wielding and split their dice pool to shoot both guns at once, would this apply?

Full Offense: "The character recieves a +2 dice pool modifier on the attack test, but may not defend against any melee attacks until her next action phase."

Technically, would this apply? (Probably not supposed to, but technically?)

Two weapon style? If you took exotic melee weapon: pistol, would this apply?

Set-Up doesn't mention melee.

(And of course Watchful guard would work.)

Multi attack, maybe.

Full Offense, no. If you read the description:
QUOTE
Th e Full Offense maneuver represents a near-berserker attack
with no regard for defense. Th e character receives a +2 dice pool
modifier on the attack test, but may not defend against any melee
attacks until her next Action Phase.

How do you do a near berserk attack with a gun and gain a bonus on it? Running imposes -2 so such an offense would impose at least -4 or even higher negative modifier.

Two weapon style, yes and no. If you use firearm to block a melee attack, go for it. It's an ex gun if you don't take the melee hardening on it but you surely can't shoot with it while defending. Off-hand training, yes. The off hand training gives you ambidexterity for one type of weapons.

Set Up, no. Well, you could get someone moving around by shooting to their feet like in old westerns, but that wouldn't give you any kind of bonus to the hit the target. Though that's Herding, not set up.

But as I said on the two weapon style already, it depends on do you use a gun as a melee weapon or do you want to use a martial arts maneuver for ranged attacks? As you wrote:

So which is it? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

*laughs* Two weapon style, exotic melee weapon: pistol, hardening customization for pistol. Ideally being able to melee block with one pistol, and fire the other.

Or make The Matrix and Equilibrium look like little bitches and cap someone with the same weapon while using it to block a melee attack. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cyber.gif)
