I used to play the Shadowrun card game quite a bit back in the day and a friend and I recently decided to dust off our cards and play. It is still quite fun. Having not played in a while I grabbed the FAQ from boardgamegeeks to help with questions. One thing I noticed was the FAQ mentions Mr. Johnson, Mr. Black, and Talismonger like they all did similar things. IE:

"MR. BLACK, MR. JOHNSON, and TALISMONGER
Can I decide to NOT put a card into play for free (i.e. if I roll a 6 when using Mr. Black)?"

However, both Mr. Black and Talismonger don't let you play cards for free. Depending on your roll they either do nothing, let you play for -1, or let you search your deck for a card. Were the rules for these two cards changed at all? Like Lord Torgo was (and thank god I read that because now I can actually put some elves in my deck and have ways to prevent them from getting pwned when Torgo goes on his rampage!)
