There is no wireless for the bioscanner on the door. It's a little more "old school", like the hardlined secuirty system that remote-ops the "Death Balloon".
Rolls Electronics. And before you ask, the scanner it's self isn't connected to the same system as the Death Balloon. |

Hard wired to the door lock it's self as a stand alone. There does appear to be an alarm on the door it's self, little ore than a pad that recognizs whether or not the door is open. Running along the same set of conduit set into the frame is a mirco wire for a discreetly hidden camera as well.
The biometrics system could be hacked if taken apart properly and tapped into directly, or bypassed and tricked electronically. Or Fix could "Fix" the door. |

I'm assuming eye biometric scanners are Retinal scanners. Is it possible for me to fake the retina using my cybereyes, assuming we have the old man's biometrics?

Only if you have Retinal Duplication built in. And yes, fair to assume that biometrics for a door would be the good ol' eye scan. Don't know if I said it specifically, but that's how I figure the standard door would be if secured with a iock of some kind. Why bother with even taking your hands out of your pockets for a hand print when you can just look at it? That's assuming a fair budget anyway.

Sorry thought I told you guys before I took off. Can't be too specific on dates when I'm going out. No, not at ComicCon. I'm in Spain, and just took a trip on an escort mission . But I'm back now and should be able to get some legitimate posts up tomorrow.

Good to hear, hope it goes well.
So I was reviewing old posts, did we get a general layout of this place from the nephew? And if so did my packet of info include it? |

Dicsussion with Kolby Stanton, the nephew, is on Page 4.
A rough floor plan was provided to the primary team members, Nyx and Dingo. If they shared that or not however is up to them. The floor plan is a rough sketch at best, apparently using a fairly simple architectural layour and design program to show simple walls, doorways, windows, stairs. and approxiamate measurements, with a number of the rooms labels with things such as 'Privy' and 'study'. The basement level on the plan, for those who have it, also marks 'kennel', with the door down into the basement located in the kitchen. Other areas of interest are : -Master Bedroom, Solarium, and Armory. |
