There are 2 main references with respects to the Environment Adaptation armor modification, one in SR4 p316 and another on Arsenal p44. Arsenal simply gives the capacity cost of Env Adaption, the one in SR4 simply states it increases the Availability of the Full Body Armor and gives its cost.

In the description of Full Body Armor, environment adaptation is described as being hot or cold environments, it does not state any game mechanics as to what this modification actually does. Has anyone else come across this in any other book? SR4/Arsenal authors, what was the intent for this mod, if any?

Survival Tests have a modificator for having climate control available, as well as inappropriate clothing/armor.

Also keep in mind that armor mod capacity limits are an optional rule.
