I am really getting interested in shadowrun now:)
I would like to know where to get shadowrun novels, are there anything involving Harlequin, he seems pretty well known in the SR world.

Are there anything/anyone I should read ?

I have gotten my hands on two novels, one called changeling, and one called headhunters (something with big D's death)

hope to get some help and sorry if I did not use the search (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cyber.gif)

Used bookstores are often a good bet for RPG novels. Can't say I've ever seen SR ones before, but it's worth a shot.

Worlds Without End has got Harlequin in it.

The Secrets of Power trilogy and also Burning Bright get my recommendation.

Ditto on the Secrets of Power trilogy. They were the first SR novels I read and remain some of my favorites.

I don't know if they are part of the first 30 novels but I have read "Never trust an elf" and "2XS" and I've enjoyed the reading, in particular "2XS".

Harlequin I believe came up in 2nd edition. There are a pair of runs based around him, Harlequin's Back and a second whose title I've forgotten, which are both 2/3rd edition. I don't know if you could transfer them to 4th. Since Harlequin is sort of a throw-back to IEs, horrors and other 4th Age stuff, I don't know that you'll be seeing much more of him in 4th edition either.

Harlequin first appeared in the book of linked adventures called Harlequin, which is 1st Ed. He reappeared in '94 (I think) in the 2nd Ed adventure module Harlequin's Back.

I know that the trilogy comes before "Never trust an elf" (Kham talks about a certain Dog Boy's big run), what I wonder is: does "Changeling" take place around the Year of the Comet?

Used book stores, like the Half-Price Books chain, typically have licensed tie-in paperback novels for $1.00 or so. You can also check alibris.com.

Catalyst will begin publishing in-canon novels set in the 2070s timeframe... soon. There was an ad in the back of Feral Cities.

I have good memories of 2XS from, oh, 20 years ago, but I don't want to ruin them by re-reading it. Findley was great at world building and sourcebooks but as a novelist... eh. I started reading Shadowplay a month ago but found so many editorial mistakes and typos in the first chapter alone that I didn't want to waste any more time with it. Darn FASA.

You'll need a list of the novels published so far, so you don't get any doubles when buying them in lots of Ebay (which is a good way to get multiple books for less money).

Here's a list on Wikipedia

I recommend the Secrets of Power Trilogy and any of the novels by Nigel Findley. The rest vary in quality.
