During last nights game for some unremembered reason one player wanted to use a wheely bin as cover. It being late in the day and tiredness beginning to invade the few sane areas of the brain somehow the idea became to armour the bin. And then someone suggested making it motorised.

It took but a few seconds before the Dwarf-launching-wheely-bin-of-Doom was proposed - a seemingly inncent wheeled type bin with armoured sides and a small electric motor, housing a looney dwarf or two standing on a hydraulic ram catapult system. At the opportune moment the rigger or passenger flicks the switch and whoosh - the target is attacked by a pair of barking mad dwarfs hurtled out of a bin at speed!

And of course a bin is often overlooked so it can carefully maneuvered into position :grinbig:

It is so silly but with a little sanity could work - sort of! :silly:

In the cold light of day suddenly normal items of everyday could be 'droned' and made into useful (?) gear. Any suggestions? (apart from to keep taking the meds)

Dumpsters. Never be without someplace to stash the body!
Swivel chairs. They're just begging to be powered vehicles already, and if you can summon them remotely, so much the better.
Assuming tortoises are generally similar to modern computers (a big assumption), computer mice! Switch the mouse out, wait for the poor unsuspecting user, and LEAP!
Plush toys.

Actually, that has potential -- yank out the overrides in a cyberterm and preload it with black ICE so the next person jacking in gets fried long before they ever hit the Matrix. :grinbig:

Action figures!

Yes, I watched "Small Soldiers" one time to many :grinbig:

Still, could be fun. One rigger with 10+ anthroform drones all connected to a Battletac computer. Ok, so the drones would be 10" high and perhaps look like "Renraku Red Samurai Action Figure Yoshimitsu" who, cares, No-one would suspect a toy to be a spy, except for the greedy little kid who decides to take "his" new toy from it's position and bring it home.

A coach diner would make a cool drone. Watching people jump out as it suddenly starts rolling away would be pretty cool :)

A bumper car in a local amusement park would be cool too. One moment you're tormenting some little girl stuck in a corner, the next you're flying down the highway at 80mph towards explosions in the distance.

Actually, that's actually a pretty good idea. Load it with cameras and now (providing you've got a need to) you've got a pair of eyes in the house. Or, in a sicker vein, if someone in the house is your wetwork target, load it with explosives, or go for the Chucky method and have it grab a knife from the cabinet.

Needle and appropriate compounds. Depending on storage space, you could load it with Kamikaze or something similar and give the target an overdose, or at least a nasty addiction that'll end up with them dead soon enough.

Heh, spike something in the house with a Berserker drug.

Record the video from the internal cameras and sell it on the side.

Follwing the "sick frag" threads, the person doing that isn't long for the world anyway.

But if you're gonna go, you might as well do it with some flair.

Doing which? Controlling the drones? If they do it right, it'll look like the target overdosed on their own. A little evidence-planting and no one will think twice.

Overdosing on something like Kamikaze? Depending on the target, the fact the victim has a relatively rare combat drug in his or her system is gonna raise some flags regardless.

Fair enough, use another drug then. I chose kamikaze as likely having a low mean lethal dose. Even if it raises flags, you should be able to hide and then extract a drone that small...

Actually, you could find probably spike the target with certain drugs that would leave a trace but not raise eyebrows as to the relatively unique nature.

Biotech anyone? :grinbig:

Enough adrenaline could do it or an air bubble introduced into the blood stream...hmmm...

Edited to complete the half-assed thought.

You bring up a very good point. A prick to the neck, a little puff of compressed air, and odds are they're not going to be sentient again if they survive.
Or there's always the carcinogen idea...

I have it on good authority that it'd take *alot* of air to affect someone. Lots and lots. So... that's not such a great idea.

Actually, I think an air bubble in someone's vein is a really, really bad thing.

Any paramedics on board have an opinion on this?

Then hit them with some nanotech or something that targets, say... neuro transmitters or hemoglobin. All of a sudden they just sort of... die.

It would be one hell of a wetwork MO, but hey, you might as well be faous for something!

It *is* a lot of air, especially in a vein. Not so much if in an artery... :grinbig:

I was thinking maybe drone up a VW Beetle. And add teeth to it. And maybe a grab/Arm.

"Ok, there's this car right, an old, beat up VW. And so the mark walks by it...and the car reaches out an' EATS him, sweartogod. Goddammed scariest thing I've ever seen, just scooped up in, and then these teeth came out an' shit... No, I don't wanna talk about it - I don't wanna think about it. Look, just give me my money - I'm getting out of this town."

hmmm - I'm getting what my diseased mind calls an idea....

Could a human form drone skeleton be built and then have a dead body reassembeled around it?

Sure, but for all that you might as well kidnap someone, outfit them with plastic surgery, autoinjectors and embedded skill chips.

And 2 kilos of C-12 rigged to a biomonitor...serves you right for getting within 2 meters! :grinbig:

Going off the bird idea, I love the thought of a small drone made to look like a Raven or something like that. You could make it a small vector thrust or something and give it the wings to complete the look and perhaps some stablization. That would make for a great spy drone, what security guard is going to pay attention to a Raven?

Even better, pigeons.

Fly right into the parameter and land at the guard's feet, make cute coo-coo sounds, take down the guard's name and a nice close up of his face while he feeds your "pigeon".
