I know, I missed that one was well Zen. Apparently it was covered in The Book That Will Never See Daylight.

I want an LE, but then I'd want a regular printing both for the cover art and to use. The package looks like a good deal...but it's still expensive. Woe is the poor gamer.
Hmm. |

What exactly is PACKS? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/question.gif) PACKS will be exactly what Adam described it as, an easy to use character and gear "template" system that will save players and gamemasters alike time during character or NPC creation (while remaining entirely customizable and flexible). But more on that when Runner's Toolkit is on final approach. |

I just ordered the LE and the pdf and I noticed that the 1st/2nd edition cover pic (the one with Ghost, Sally and Dodger) is in there. Is that the normal edition or the limited edition cover??? While the other looks great I am a sucker of nostalgia.

Adam, will the LEs be available at GenCon (i.e., will you be holding some back), or will you sell them all through normal (i.e., retail) channels?

Helps me. I pre-ordered one too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Maybe I can break away from work and hit GenCon (best ask soon, eh (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ).

For those that ordered the pdf from Battlecorps and are having a tough time downloading the pdf.
There's a few ways to get to the pdf that you ordered; this is how I got it though. |

What picture does the regular edition come with on the front cover? Is it the old 4th edition picture?
That's page 1 of the interior, the usual "splash" page. Excellent choice gang, much appreciated. I have a poster of Sally and the gang in my closet. Glad to see it in my books again. |

Is that already activated at BattleCorps? It sure doesn't work for me. I'll have to wait until biz hours PST to look into this, sorry. What picture does the regular edition come with on the front cover? Is it the old 4th edition picture? No -- the front cover of the PDF is the front cover of the print book; second page is the back cover. |

*arches an eyebrow* OK, three things I have noticed, and I might be reading too much into this..but,
1) There is no mention of Dumpshock in the "find us online", while previously, there was 2) Holostreets is put in there 3) I actually went to www.holostreets.com, and it now mirrors the official SR4.com page... Does this mean there is an impending distancing from Dumpshock as the official unofficial forums, with Holostreets in the forseeable future? |

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be; if German stores order it, they'll get it. I'll double-check with Dave to be sure. Shipping via Battlecorps is so damn expensive, that's why I asked. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

I love this, but I do have a few questions:
The SR4 PDF that I got a new download for is still the old 1.3 version. Does this mean that the old PDF won't be updated to reflect the latest print? Do I have to buy the new SR4 20th Anniv. PDF, or will I get a free update from my old SR4 PDF? Will the new SR4 20th Anniv. book now be the only official BBB? How about all the references in the other rulebooks (Aug, SM, Ars, Unw, RC), will they be updated to fit with the new 20th anniv. rulebook? Thanks, looking forwards to the rest of the new material. No -- the front cover of the PDF is the front cover of the print book; second page is the back cover. Thanks, it's working now. While the new general artwork is a huge improvement and old pieces are features - how come that the anniversary edition replaced all of the weapon pictures with uniform gray blocks? |

Do I have to buy the new SR4 20th Anniv. PDF, or will I get a free update from my old SR4 PDF? You won't get a free download, but there should be a discount coupon being sent out via email. I actually think it is contained in the email that informed you about the faux update to the old SR4 book -- that's the best way for us to send an update to everyone who bought the previous PDF. QUOTE Will the new SR4 20th Anniv. book now be the only official BBB? It's our base for moving forward, but it's heavily compatible with the previous SR4 printings -- you can mix and match them at the table with minimal issues. QUOTE How about all the references in the other rulebooks (Aug, SM, Ars, Unw, RC), will they be updated to fit with the new 20th anniv. rulebook? Most of them don't need updates beyond minor errata and page number references. We'll be sliding those out when we reprint those books. |

Are you having a PDF rendering isuse, or are you just slamming the equipment art? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

I'm just wondering why, say, an Ares Alpha doesn't look like, well, an Ares Alpha anymore. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)

cool! I can't believe I almost missed this. It'll be a great reference. Gonna be starting up a Ghost Cartels campaign soon, it'll be nice to only need to lug around one book.
I'll be calling my FLGS today. They're good for pre-orders. |

Funny thing I was just considering buying a new BBB after using some packing tape to fix the corner of my binding. (As a side note this book has put up with some abuse and only recently gotten a small tear) My (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nuyen.gif) is secured once again be stalking that poor mailbox.

Is there any chance of getting a peek at what that "spiffy" Limited Edition cover will look like?
