We can go fearther I was thinking of swapping out the bipod and adding the auto-assault from above underbarrel with an extended barrel not reduced to have a automated point defense on the back pack to. Also with millspec armor you could carry a second automated weapon over your other shoulder LMG minigun with 10round GL underbarrel?. I think any more twinking may just kill my tiny little munchkin in my head.

QUOTE The Omega Base Gun: Ares Alpha Factory upgrades: Ares recoil comp, smartgun, underbarrel grenade launcher Mods: Foregrip, sling, gas-vent 3 system, personalized grip, heavy barrel, high velocity Cost to make: -- Cost to buy: (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nuyen.gif) 5,315 >>>No camo. Not concealable. Pretty much nothing that we'd usually want. But Jesus effing Christ is this a scary weapon to be seeing the wrong end of. Someone (and by "someone" I mean "a guy who I can get you in contact with for a few nuyen more") saw Ares' foray into the HVAR market, and decided it'd be a fun thing to fuse with an Alpha. Well, it's fun, all right: you'll look like a freaking trid hero, what with your gun that offers about as much recoil as a three-round burst on an AK-97 while spitting up to 16 rounds a second. In all seriousness, though, this thing gets a damn good accuracy to power ratio, and it's not like the Alpha isn't all over the Shadows anyway. Just bring lots of ammo.<<< -Posted by Thud, Karma 27, 95.9% positive >>>Thud, you're a troll. With foot anchors. You telling me that there's not much recoil means jack and... you know.<<< -Posted by SomeDaysSomeNights, Karma 33, 87.2% positive >>>One, you're not exactly elven yourself, SDSN. Two, I've seen a human fire it with barely a pop; that's what I'm basing this on. If you've got foot anchors, are pretty strong, or both, you're gonna feel like you're shooting a pistol. A really, really heavy pistol.<<< --Posted by Thud, Karma 27, 95.9% positive >>>I actually have one of these things. Thud's exaggerating about the RoF; you're not getting there unless you've got some SERIOUS WR stuff going on. But that said? Stick a bunch of stick-n-shock rounds in there and bring down a Dragon-cursed elephant if you want.<<< --Posted by Atzmaut, Karma 9, 99.9% positive QUOTE SuperVulcan Base Gun: Super Suirt Factory upgrades: None Mods: Integrated smartgun, large fire selection (full auto) Cost to make: -- Cost to buy: (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nuyen.gif) 2,000 >>>Yes. It's a toy. But I saw a mall robbed by Bust-a-Moves once, so shut the eff up. Just in time for the latest in office warfare comes a paintball gun capable of smartlinking and full-auto. But the the reason we want it, omaes, is because it'll take SuperSquirt ammo. There's nothing like putting three guys down in a spray of Pepper Punch in less than five seconds.<<< Posted by Thud, Karma 27, 95.9% positive >>>You're a kid at heart, Thud.<<< Posted by AvogadroDoesItWithMoles, Karma 17, 92.1% positive >>>Shut it, omae.<<< Posted by Thud, Karma 27, 95.9% positive |

== Here is the pistol of choice for all aspiring Grammaton Clerics: QUOTE FN 5-7C 600 - barrel mount: gas vent 3 400 - underbarrel mount: laser sight 100 - extended clip (25%) 500 - level 2 custom look 1000 - internal smartgun system 600 - Firing selection change (FA) 300 - melee hardening 300 - personalised grip 100 - gecko grip 100 Total cost: 4k The custom look was originally intended for staredowns (+2 mod per weapon when drawn (+4 total) + elven charisma would be impressive I thought, but I ran out of points). Ideally I'd make it undetectable to MADs but I can't do that without using additional restrictive gear. Recoil compensation on this weapon alone is 5 before factoring in gyromounts and strength. I'm not entirely sure on the legality of having two grip mods - I'm thinking most GMs wouldn't have an issue with the above. - J. |

CODE AK-97 "Rifle-Carbine" Cost: 1 000 Base: AK-97 Mods: Barrel Reduction, Gas Vent 3, Foregrip Options: Extended Clip (+500), Smartgun System (+500), Additional Clip (+500), Bayonet Mount (free) Damage: 6P/-1 Range: AR -20% Modes: SA/BF/FA RC: 1+3 = 4 Ammo: 38 c, 48 c with EC, 38 c/38 c with AC >>> Another gun from the West Coast that I've been given the chance to get shipped out, any takers? If that's your thing, then PM me for payment details. << - Cobra Johnson, 89 Karma, 62 Metakarma, 3 Hyperkarma, 1 Shiftkarma >>> Hey, how come it doesn't list the clips for a pair of large clips? Aren't you the self-proclaimed completionist? <<< - AJX, 7 Karma, 2 Metakarma >>> I just got off the 'link with the guy, and he says that it'd cost you extra to fit both of those in the same weapon. Something about having to use smart materials for the mag wells if you wanted both. You also can't easily fit the Smartgun into the same gun as a second clip. Didn't name a price, either. <<< - Cobra Johnson, 89 Karma, 62 Metakarma, 3 Hyperkarma, 1 Shiftkarma >>> Free bayonet mount? <<< - Nameless Egomaniac, 3 Karma >>> Oh great, you got tangency going again. <<< - MoXt, Moderator >>> He probably doesn't think it's worth rounding up the price of the mount to the nearest hundred. Doesn't like dealing with "spare change". <<< - Cobra Johnson, 89 Karma, 62 Metakarma, 3 Hyperkarma, 1 Shiftkarma >>> I note that this man doesn't make the normal kind of guns you see around here. What's up with that? <<< - Well and Truly Borked, 45 Karma, 22 Metakarma, 1 Hyperkarma >>> He's from LA, dude. What do you expect? <<< - Nameless Egomaniac, 3 Karma CODE "Spirit Hunter" Cost: 750 Base: Ruger Super Warhawk Mods: Reduced Weight, Extended Barrel Options: SA Firing Mode (+2 250) Damage: 6P/-2 Range: Heavy Pistol +10% Modes: SS, SA with option RC: 0 Ammo: 6 cy >>> Same old West Coast guy. This is apparently based off the gun a friend of his was using back when he was a 'runner. He sent me pictures, that barrel goes a long way. Frankly, if some guy jammed this in face I wouldn't care if I was made of fire, I'd be running scared. <<< - Cobra Johnson, 89 Karma, 62 Metakarma, 3 Hyperkarma, 1 Shiftkarma >>> So instead of dealing with all the problems of the basic weapon, he makes them even worse? It's lighter and has even more recoil! Who's this guy's friend? Some big burly guy who doesn't have a problem firing the biggest baddest weapons on the planet without a problem? <<< - Nameless 'Runner >>> He was Human. A hacker. What does that make you? Some kind of nancy boy? JD could fire a Warhawk perfectly fine. <<< - Goldberg et al, 0 Karma >>> I gave the guy behind this the address, figured he could answer questions best himself. <<< - Cobra Johnson, 89 Karma, 62 Metakarma, 3 Hyperkarma, 1 Shiftkarma >>> So, uh, how do you kill Spirits with this? It's not like it does significantly more damage. <<< - AJX, 7 Karma, 2 Metakarma >>> Load it with EX Explosive. The basic weapon is perfectly fine that way, just figured it would be better if it could shoot a little further and be light enough that you don't have to drop something from your normal loadout to use it. <<< - Goldberg et al, 0 Karma |

Actually according to Arsenal errata, that would be 8P +5AP Actually it's 6P because the non-flechette hold-out damage is 4P. Though the weapon has a +2 AP and the ammo has +5, so in the spirit of pointlessness I took the +5 AP. EDIT: The arsenal errata does indeed say that the pistol does 8P(f). That makes no sense to me as the high damage makes this pistol semi-useful, something that completely undermines my intent. |
