I seem to recall that trauma patches and other medical patches had awful magic draining effects on magi and shamen who used them. Is this again part of 4th edition rules. I don't seem to see it mentioned anyplace.

Not that I know of.

Although, a hand to hand fighter and a box of stun patches is always fun (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Nonexistent in 4th edition. That particular trait was only in SR3 due to the way slap patches dealt with damage (insta-heal instead of High Pain Tolerance * Rating).
