Is it possible to make an AI rigger? Would someone be able to give me suggestions about the build and accounting for stats and such?

Thanks!

To make an AI Rigger I would first have the AI control a drone network and can use any of the drones as its eyes, ears, hands, etc. It would need good edit, decryption, and EW skills. I would also make the AI have the quirk that it was a bit of a drone collector (to further its ability to influence the "real" world).

Why does it rig drones? Ask this yourself.
Is this AI curious about the "programming and metaphorics" of the Real World? Maybe it's a controlfreak and thinks that it should control that "Realitylayer" too (furthermore: Has he plans about conquering the Astral?)
Does it use his drones as subordinates, avatars or mere tools? Are Pilot Programs "siblings" to him which he wants to awake with his own presence?
What program did it came from? Especially interesting if he used to be a mere "Command" Program, he's more of a controller, than rigger (doesn't need the "Piloting Origin per fluff). Or are his origins to find in something quite different, maybe he sprung from an Real Time Strategy MMO and just does what he did before... only to replace programmed units and maps with drones and the real world. Or more exotic: Something that has nothing to do with drones or controlling and directing stuff.

Yes, i design AIs for fun (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I just had an evil thought. An AI that believes its a mage stuck in the machine and is looking for a way to get back it's magic.

Designing AIs is fun. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The one AI character someone in my local group came up with (was this Jim?) was an AI who awoke thinking it was Friend Computer from Paranoia, who kept trying to kill the other PCs for treason and thought of them as its Troubleshooters (you see trouble, you shoot it).

At which point it doesn't really matter what it arose from, its insane.

Insane is my other AI, calls himself Alain Blaine if he let's himself down to interact with humans and his prime motivation for getting wealth? To revenge the death of his "sister". He once was a boss from an MMO and the developers wanted to delete the dungeon he was situated it. His sisters files got freaked and due to trauma he emerged.

put a technomancer, mage and ai in the same room, and you better run fast to avoid permanent hearing loss from all the arguing...
