Hello,
I'm moving my typical setting from Seattle to Denver for a few games, what are the differences I should be aware of? And/or what is a decent resource to reference? Currently I know Ghostwalker lives/runs Denver and Aztechnology was kicked out because of it. But that's about it. Thank you for your help. |

Well, they ran a set of Missions adventures there, which might be helpful, and Command Quarterly had a brief rundown on the city.

Oi Chummer,
Denver is quite a bit different than Seattle with the border crossings between each sector and a myriad of different influence groups manipulating the Shadow scene. An awesome setting though. The F.R.F.Z. has a real different feel to it. Though it is outdated a good source of information is Denver "The City of Shadows" box set. It came out a long while back so getting your hands on one might prove difficult but worht it. And like the previous post said there was a whole SR Missions done in the FRFZ which would be not only a good campaign but has a plethora of good information. Good Luck and remeber "Shoot Straight, Conserve Ammo, and Never, Ever, make a deal with a Dragon. |

didn't Ghostwalker do away with the differnet district/borders? Nationalities provide police but I thought the internal checks were all gone.

You have to pass through a check point to get from sector to sector. If what you describe is mentioned elsewhere, I'm not aware of it. -paws |

More specifically, they make mention of needing to use coyotes to cross the borders at various points in the Denver Missions arc, and provide several as contacts the players can gain for employing the coyotes' services.
For the OP, as mentioned the Denver Missions downloads are going to be your best source for up to date information, with the Denver box set being the older out of date stuff (but still possibly useful). If you want the details of Ghostwalker's takeover, look for Year of the Comet. |
