Excellent. That's the information that I was looking for Blitz. I'll be ready with an IC interview when we get there. Other than that, was there any fruit in my search for response times for Lone Star out toward the Factor Five building from Times articles? Once I'm done with that search, I'll probably head back to Ugluck to see if Grog got in touch with him.

Not really...that kind of information is considered sensitive. they list their respose times as qualitative, not quantative...(ie, fastest response time of any private security...etc. rather than, responds in 2.5 minutes)

blitz,
got it.
I was just wondering if you were going to let me average 70 hours a week per the manual (letting me have a little flexibility... I just threw the 14hours/6hours thing out there as an example) or if you were going to be firm on 10 every 24 hour period.

the catnapping example is a good one, though, I'll probably go with that.

nice char pic, btw. I think I picture her a bit older and less sharp featured..

None of you know yet, or will know anytime soon, but Crimson is MUCH much older than you'd suspect ;)

Ok...now we have moved up to 2pm where I will conclude the meet with Crimson and Sully. Once I have Sully caught up with the Timeline (ie. 4pm) we will move forward.

Thanks for everyone's patience in getting us caught up.

Buddah, expect a post sometime this morning.

Hey guys, a heads up here, I am feeling pretty sick, a head cold or something. My posts will be on the minimalist side here for the next few days until I am feeling better.

Unfortunately, my Cannon Companion has walked off and I dont have SOTA. Can someone post the availability and cost for ceramic weapons?

The only thing I found in the Canon Companion is ceramic components in the firearms customization rules. Even those rules, however, don't really account for the availability of those components, as far as I can tell.

There are no hard and fast rules for making melee weapons out of different materials. One GM I played with thought since most weapons (there are exceptions) didn't indicate their material composition that the player could pick within reason (no diamond clubs). I wasn't fond of that since the player is getting a benefit usually from the different material choice. I charged my self twice the amount of the base weapon and raised the availability by 2, to reflect the added challenge of finding one made out of ceramics. I chatted with folk and got the impression that a blunt weapon made from ceramics would not be terribly difficult to make. The other assumption in play, is that by this point the plastic compounds are advanced enough to be as resilient as metals for the purposes of melee weapons. Hope that helps. :spin:

That's kind of what I was figuring as well, though I don't have any mechanics for the cost or availablity of such items. If you want to, just have Grog tell Ugluck and Ugluck tell me that they're working on it. It's not something that PD is looking to take on this run because he may not have the cash for them depending on the cost after he pays Mac a visit this afternoon to make his down payment on the encryption/decryption gear.

True, it all depends on the GM. It's one of those things that you never think to ask before the game gets going, or at least I never think of it.

Ok...I think that's acceptable. For non-standard materials we'll just have the street index increased by 1 and the availability by two.
