Is anyone out there in Massachusetts, north of Boston, south of NH, on the North Shore, who is looking for (specifically) players?

I just moved to the Boston area. Waltham specifically. Looking for a game as well. Would rather play than GM, but willing to run if that's what it takes.

I haven't got enough SR4 experience to run it, so I'm afraid I must ask you to GM (sorry (IMG:style_emoticons/default/embarrassed.gif) ). Feel free to PM me if you're interested.

However, I'm MBTA-bound; is there any way to use it to get from Lynn to there using it?

*Bump*

I know there are some SR players around, so I thought I'd see if anyone is hosting a game that they'd not mind me being in. Any SR players out there?

I'll be back in the area come next Summer for an as-yet-unknown period of time and might start a game then, but I'm strictly SR3.

Hmmm ... Then so long as you are willing to teach me the rules, I am quite willing to adapt - I'm more interested in getting in on an SR game than I am in a particular iteration.

I'm in the process of starting up an occasional Shadowrun game in Berlin, MA. The game concept is that the Runners specialize in short-term runs - Hire on Friday, Payoff on Sunday. Whenever someone feels like running a game, they email the list and we set up a time. Youse guys interested?

Off 495, just north of 290. You can't take the bus, but it's not far from the Littleton Commuter Rail Station off the Fitchburg line.

Ah, so I can get there but it'd be some work. I may drop in on a game to say hi, and indeed would be willing, but probably couldn't get out regularly.

Good luck!

I'd be more specific but I'm not sure if you're running or playing.

I ran. It wasn't the smoothest, rules-wise, but it was my first time, and they did play it pretty smart.

Still looking.

I dunno if any of you MA-ers are (1.) free enough to read this or (2.) free enough from real life to actually come up and play, but the the owner of the store Toys N Things up in Danvers is willing to run a game; all we need are a few players and we'd be off.

Danvers is a bit of a stretch from where I am, though I wish I could make it to some of their Dominion Tournaments.

Define "north of Boston, south of New Hampshire". That describes me (and Toys and Things is like, fifteen minutes from my house).

I live in Lynn, in MA, and work in Salem. I regularly go to Toys N Things; if you'd like to meet there on a Friday or a Sunday (Star Wars game on Friday; deserted of Magic players on Sunday) just let me know which one.

Raven, if you get a chance to go to Toys n Things, just ask Evan (the owner) about Shadowrun, and he'll be able to set something up.

Once it gets over being west of both, yes.

I actually went down to T&T the day they opened (or the weekend, sometime within the first few hours) and discussed his 3.5 campaigns and Pathfinder. Pretty cool guy.

My time is really wrapped up right now, but maybe we can pull something together.

Bump. Just seeing if there are any new or returning Boston/North Shore area Shadowrunners around looking for a game.

(Probably a good time to mention that I consider "Boston Area" to include anything on the MBTA subways, in case you're wondering.)

Just another bump in case new Boston, MA area Runners have joined up, or if old ones have returned and want a game.
