In Runner's Companion the table of shifter stats lists Leopard/Jaguar/Tiger/Lion shifters as having Agility 5/8(12)
Is that right? Shouldn't that be either 3/8(12) or 5/10(15) Also Bears have Str/Bod 7/13(19) Isn't that 7/12(18) or 8/13(19) Or is there some special rule that lets them ignore the normal attribute progression? |

The normal attribute progression isn't a rule, so it doesn't need a rule to override it. It's just the way all the metahuman attribute caps are set up.

Or is there some special rule that lets them ignore the normal attribute progression? Yup, there attributes are listed as such, and therefor they are. By definition any metatype or ability lets you break the rules of the game, this one just lets you do so in a different way. |

This odd attribute progression isn't new.
Unless I'm utteryl mistaken, Orks and Trolls have a progression of 1/5 ((IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) for charisma. It might be a different stat, but the cap of 5 is in there somewhere. I'm assuming that's what you meant though, that the progression isn't min/min+5 (max *1.5). as in Humans = 1/6 (9) and elves for agility = 2/7 (10 or 11?). the only hard rule is that the augmented maximum is equal to 1.5 times the max of that attribute (6 *1.5 = 9) |
