I have an iPhone and I'm thinking of getting one of the new sony ebook readers [the PRS-700, with touch screen - mmmm].

And was wondering if anyone uses theirs for reading RPG books ??

I think a properly formatted, searchable, link clickable rulebook might be rather good - portable, easy to carry, easily updatable.

Any thoughts welcome.

my group has thought about that. one was going to get a tablet pc. i think it would work just aswell as having dead tree books with the exception of cross referencing one book to another.

It can be done easily on a laptop [Spotlight in OSX makes this very easy, as it searches across all documents]...
...But they're a bit large.

A netbook or palmtop would be better...

Mobile phone or ebook reader is ideal for portability, but phones suffer from small screens and ebook readers [generally] suffer from cost.

From all the ebooks I've seen, it's not the reader that's the problem...
...It's the formatting.
