Have you ever had one of those days when you wake up and realise that you life, for some bizzarro reason, is mimicing gameplay?
This has got to be the strangest thing to ever happen to me: I create myself a nice little croc shaman. don't know anything about rpging shamans, just decide i want one. GM decides she's a bit broken, so to fix her, i roleplay her totem calling her. A few weeks later, I'm having night terrors. I'm being surrounded in real life by these creatures, when suddenly my mind goes back to my character and I realise that life is mimicing game play. weird. next thing you know the rest of my group is going to wake up and realise they are: *totally and utterly in love with explosives and want to devote their life to blowing things up *a mysoginist journo *a PhysAd ... I know mine is an extreme case, but I'd love to hear how life imitates gameplay for you. :) |
