Doc finds a moment to speak to Jane while both are en route to MY Fedallah, "I understand that you've been tending to the medical needs of the crew up to this point," he says, glancing at her metalic hand, "Have there been any issues that I should be made aware of?"

Arriving on the ship, she tossed her bag into her bunk and went out to the main deck to retrieve her real gear. Eying the men carrying it up carefully, she told them to set her trunk down. Lifting the lid, she smiled softly as she looked inside, pulling out an impressive sniper rifle, the Ares Desert Strike, and began stroking along the shaft of the barrel. "Mjolnir baby, I've missed you. Ready to get back to work soon? Good, good. How's Thor's Thunder?" With that she pulled out an Enfield AS-7 shotgun, smiling to it as well. "Beautiful as always. Good good, I'd hate to have to deal with those idiots if they'd hurt you, but it wouldn't stop me." And thus she put the weapons back in her trunk and had the movers carry it into her bunk, watching them carefully the whole way, noting the worried looks on their faces as they realized she cared more about those weapons than she did their lives.

John, passive mode

I'd better go in before one of the newbs gets paranoid and starts shooting at me John wryly thinks to himself. As John enters the ship, he salutes the patrol detail and asks for a sitrep. Though rather tired from the debriefing, John eyes locked onto a girl with the sharpest hair he'd seen in a while. Though in a some strange civi getup, John immediate spotted a gal with sharpness and the situational awareness of experience. Plus, the bags and crates were definitely sign she was joining the crew, and her face matched the dossier.

Taking a bold move, John walked over. "Hey there soldier girl, you're packing some nice gear. I presume you're joing the Fedallah? The name's John. It's a pleasure to see another elf on the crew."

She looked at him, raised an eyebrow momentarily, then went back to watching the seamen carrying the trunk with her weapons. "Yes."

"Good!" John said relaxing his hand. "I'm currently the ship's quarter master and cook. Feel free to store your ammo and weapons in the arms locker below deck, but keep it labeled and separate from the ship's munitions. If you want to use some of the shared ammo, make a note of it in the ship's inventory log before an op. Otherwise, welcome aboard.". John turned and stopped. "By the way, we have two casualties. Their rooms will be available soon." John added grimly and went below

Going the long way back to his quarters, John stumbles across Nemo in the common area. "Ho there sailor!" and stretching out his hand "John, ship's quarter master and cook. Nemo I presume?"

"You presume correct, and if you are the cook and quartermaster I'm certainly glad to meet you." Nemo pauses and glances around. "She really is a beautiful ship, how does she handle on the open ocean?"

"Are there any regs about weapons in rooms, or can we keep non-explosive items in our rooms?"

"She certainly is! She's fast enough to make a trip to the Caribbean in a week, and that's with the currents. Plus, our employer has outfitted her with a lot of stealth and firepower. For the tech specs, Jane is the best to talk to. She's our resident gear head. Since you're crew now, feel free to inspect the ship.

For weapons, we don't have any regs. Everyone has been keeping their personal gear in the quarters, regardless of volatility. However, we do have an armory for shared gear and ammo. If you'd like to store your stuff there, make sure it's labeled and separate. You're also welcome to use the shared gear; just put it into the ship's log!"

BTW, do you have any preferences for food? I'm going to expand our menu a bit since our initial rations were, shall we say, not terribly exciting. Personally, I'm speciallty is seafood, or synthsea, but I don't mind experimenting.

Are we trying to do commerce raiding, hostage taking, and the like or are we also looking to smuggle things?" Nemo shrugs and ponders his fellow crewmates. "We could even try the quasi legal and try our luck at gathering telsma near the triangle if we want."
