Mana Child: you character's new official nickname, as far as Mallard is concerned, is "Aley". I'm sorry, but the whole name is a mouthful! No disrespect ment. :)

I think if you just dropped an 'l' and made the name Alerith, it would be much easier to say.

I think you're doing well -- the relationship between Aley and Silent caught me by surprise, but I don't mind it.

In case you don't know, since you don't have MITS, a background count is the lingering effects of a horrible incident. Areas where there is a lot of pain, sickness, suffering, sadness, etc. all have a background count of varying levels. Example, the background count of Auschwitz (sp?) is probably still pretty high even 120 years after WWII. A less extreme case, all hospitals are considered to have a background count of 1 because of the pain, surgeries, deaths, worry, sadness, lack of sleep, bad food, etc.

Do we have anybody w/ a forensic kit? And, preferably, the skill to use it? If not...Its legwork time!

Well, the relationship is news to me too. Rather unlikely for Silent too, so it's bound to be rocky. I'm sure it will make for interesting roleplay.

i'm afraid that my 1 post a day might go down to 2 posts a week now becuase my brother gave my parents a $1000 australian phone bill and since they cant pay that much in thier required time thier going to cut off our phone. so i'll only be able to post the days i'm at college wich is 2 days a week until the second teacher arrives which will be a few weeks but when that gets sorted it maybe 4 days a week until the phone bill is sorted out.

*sigh* D'OH!

Dude! What the hell?! Is your brother one of those long-distance phone junkies, or does he play too much with online games? Hopefully, it's not phone sex lines. If it is, introduce him to the wonderful world of free internet porn! Save money AND time - with pictures!

Anyway, that sucks. I hope the situation improves.

My laptop is dying -- it's failing somehow and rebooting -- so I'm going to be re-tooling for a few days. I'll be in and out to post when I can. Just wanted to let everyone know.

I'll do the best i can to keep us running, but with Mana Child slowing down for a few days, too, maybe it won't be so bad.

Kevyn, are you still playing? I think we're all waiting on Mallard's response to an IC question.

It might be moving in that direction. I haven't seen a post from Ditaki since we started, Xel Naga seems spotty at best and I think Kevyn has wandered off as well. I'm going to give it a few more days on life support but it doesn't look good.

Yeah, I think I'm calling this one dead. I haven't heard from Ditaki or Kevyn by PMs either, so I think they're avoiding me. I'll probably start a new game shortly so watch for my post --- it'll be something about ice bergs in the title --- it'll all become clear.

Sorry Mana Child, I'll try to get you into a game sometime that doesn't explode on us.

Yes, and then, it'll be a postnuclear roleplaying game. ;)

(nerd joke. If you don't get it, you just wouldn't understand.)

No, No, No...I'm still here! I've been kinda busy and the other games I'm are evolved to the point where I can just shoot 'em a one liner or two. Gimme a few hours and I'll get an IC post.

Edit: Okay, I just saw the IC. Sorry everyone.
