When entering manhatten I gave a scanner rating of 3....is this too strong/weak? What should the typical scanner rating be?

Matters. On a routine check, I'd usually say it's a 2 or 3, yeah. If the security is tight, then coul be more.

Somewhat related, does anyone know the rules for picking up high grade bioware? Delta, beta? I seem to remember that it took the highest amount of successes possible on a high grade scanner to detect alpha bioware, though I don't have my books right now. Does that mean it is completely undetectable?
