So I encounter too much whitespace for my own sanity as I was laying out this #1 issue. I solve this, I'm going ahead and adding a few advertisements, old school style. Yes it slows things down, but it makes for a better Mag IMHO.
What I'd like from you my dear readers, is some ideas.. bounce them around here. Ill be watching this to see if there is anything fun I can throw inthe issues to take up some space. From the IRC chan just tonight: Cardboard frosted nerps with artificial fruit flavors and dash of soykaf! |

We have to consider what the promulgation of personal, always-on computing tech would do for advertising. I'm thinking that they just don't bother putting any kind of contact info on their adverts since you can just search for it all anyway, and you will most likely.
Random Ideas White background with a technical-box-thing in the lower-right corner. Blue-black text, centralised, each sentence stacked atop the next: "We made the Matrix. We can make you." Overlaid on the technical-box-thing: "NeoNET." Armed, threatening metahuman standing in a doorway into dark room, shot from room interior. Large central text: "Thousands of lives are endangered every minute. Is your home safe?" Smaller, corner text: "Weapons World." Whole body skeletal x-ray, DNA double helix vertically dividing it. Bright white text centered beneath: "Parashield saves millions. Can we save you?" Solar-eclipse image like that seen in Heroes with semi-transparent overlaid images of general science stuff.
