Too bad it only works in Japan right now. When this gets mixed with the Augmented Reality contact lenses we're good to go.

Having installed the google layal app, I can tell you that it is not as wonderful as you think. Unless you are a fan of spam. If this became more mainstream it would be even more filled with crap. The problem with AR is everyone can post whatever they want. So essentially everyone is screaming at you. It's kind of like the streets of tokyo with all of the flashing/illuminated billboards. 1 or 2 would be great.... with 500 it hurts the eyes, and you notice little. Now when you remove the cost barrier .... the problem becomes exponentially worse.
