Nothing new here I guess but never can never have two many to choose from, and yes I know this was used with Rigger 3 Rules but seems with SR4 they don't want to give you the ability to build from the ground up even with Arsenal which is a shame. But then I understand why as it was rather... tedious and painful working with but fun to if your into crunching numbers. Once I get used to SR4, and figure out how to convert over to SR stats if there needs to be any that is. FHISW is short for Forward Heavy Infantry Support Walker, yes I know acronyms are all the rave these days... but that be a long title or name for a vehicle no? I have the fluff for it in the works. The idea behind the vehicle is something that can move with in very constrained spaces but still need the boom of a grenade machine gun or a large caliber machinegun to chew through the barrier some people put in front of you. What better to do that with then a 30mm chaingun(Look it up, much different then what most here think a chaingun is) or .50cal BMG vulcan(Look up the GAU-19A) gun, and then there is always the need for a big slab of vehicle armor to act as a barrier of your own? I was thinking of allowing it to punch and stuff, and logically if those arms can hold heavy support weapons there is strength to slam someone to the ground(Even a troll). I would leave that to GMs to decide.
The Blister Pod idea I like as it allows you to customize and refit in little to no time like some weapon systems I have seen proposed for tanks, trucks and stuff. The Type 33 Advanced AI Co-Pilot thing was an idea I think some here understand but to those who don't I'll explain. The whole idea of using a Drone computer or even advanced robotics is that it takes some concentration to pilot something while shoot which is why gun ships have a co-pilot, but this vehicle had no space for a co-pilot so why not have a drone cover the shooting or handling functions. Logical no? And on a side note... We need a table function here.
