I need to see if anyone has a nifty excel sheet for making custom guns using SR3 Cannon Companion and as a bonus one for the surgery rules.
I am trying to find a pair of sheets I can plug in the options and the like, come up with a time to make the gun/do the surgery and how much it costs to do so. Can't make heads nor tails of those rules and its driving me bonkers. |

Does it need to be Excel?
I've been doing some experimenting with Visual Basic (made a Perception and Initiative Program until I get RPTools figured out), and so if a VB executable is fine, I can whip one of those up tomorrow. I can't promise it'll be really pretty, but it'll work. Morgan Vening |

Thank you in advance. |

Or check whether you can port it into VB for applications (in this case excel)...

A dude that goes by the name of ShadowGhost made a really nice Firearms Designer for Mac OSX, if that helps any. I wish he was still around making SR4 stuff...

As in, a single EXE, that runs without anything else required. Just run and go. Using Excel, I assume you have a Windows based operating system? That's all you SHOULD need. Visual Basic is just what I use to create it. Shouldn't need an external program to run it. Morgan Vening - In theory, SHOULD should be enough. In reality, that's not always the case. |
