I need to see if anyone has a nifty excel sheet for making custom guns using SR3 Cannon Companion and as a bonus one for the surgery rules.

I am trying to find a pair of sheets I can plug in the options and the like, come up with a time to make the gun/do the surgery and how much it costs to do so.

Can't make heads nor tails of those rules and its driving me bonkers.

Does it need to be Excel?

I've been doing some experimenting with Visual Basic (made a Perception and Initiative Program until I get RPTools figured out), and so if a VB executable is fine, I can whip one of those up tomorrow. I can't promise it'll be really pretty, but it'll work.

I'll give it a shot! I have no idea how Visual Basic works, I just suggested excel because it's what I have. Thank you in advance.

Or check whether you can port it into VB for applications (in this case excel)...

A dude that goes by the name of ShadowGhost made a really nice Firearms Designer for Mac OSX, if that helps any. I wish he was still around making SR4 stuff...

Oh, it SHOULD be a fully internal executable. As in, a single EXE, that runs without anything else required. Just run and go. Using Excel, I assume you have a Windows based operating system? That's all you SHOULD need.

Visual Basic is just what I use to create it. Shouldn't need an external program to run it.

- In theory, SHOULD should be enough. In reality, that's not always the case.
