Ahhh I beg to differ, there are people that do that, but not all of us. There is a new McDonald's mentality, a corporate food mentality perhaps, that sees food as fuel as previously mentioned. They live in every country in the world, and bland tasteless pap covered in salt and msg is becoming a staple. Some of us Yankees on the other hand resist this. Let's face it Iron Chef has become a Yankee Show (I grant it lost something crossing the ocean), and an entire network dedicated to cooking has become extremely popular.

well maybe in 50 years yall figure out how to cook lobster. Salty butter is ok, but cooking em like they are big crawfish is the way. Gota have that crab boil.

and I must salute ya for at least trying to do flavorful cooking.
