As someone who lives alone, I think this would be awesome. I'm a good cook, but it is alot of work to cook for one person. Yeah. I stopped even making pots of soup (which I normally eat the whole 2.5 servings of myself) because I'd have to wash dishes. The added work made order-out so much more appealing. -------------------- QUOTE (bowdown2q @ April 2 2011, 11:29 pm) Just about. |

Yeah, they are all at least a good cm thick all the way around. Maybe more, I haven't really bothered to measure them. On the bonus side, they act as amazingly effective weapons. I'm sure someones bones would break long before my fry pans got so much as a dent in them. So when the infection hits, you'll be good for taking out some zombies. Left4dead style. Pans for plates is a good idea when it's just 1 person. Saves time and water, and all the food makes it to the plate, instead of just most of it with some leftover waiting for the dishwater. Cooling racks and a tall t.v. tray makes it easy, no matter how thick your pan is. -------------------- I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it!

saving water? you must be out west or something, never heard of that being a concern before...
I simply hate doing dishes, if I didnt mind wasteing money buying paper plates I would just use them. |

Wyoming. Not tight on water, I just pointed it out as one of those simple things that make a tiny impact on the planet.

So when the infection hits, you'll be good for taking out some zombies. Left4dead style. Basically? Yeah. Don't own any firearms though, so I won't last real long. On the other hand I live pretty darn out of the way, and have a reasonable stockpile of food, so good chance my area would remain off the radar for a while. My apartment makes a crummy defensible location for the most part though, huge windows and such, but a massive bathroom I could hold up in. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. Oh wait, using it as my nightstand. -------------------- "Justice, like lightning, ever should appear to only a few men's ruin, but to all men's fear."

Velociraptor entry point! Of course, if I know anything about raptors, they're probably not really interested in eating you. -------------------- QUOTE (bowdown2q @ April 2 2011, 11:29 pm) Just about. |
