Note on sign language:
I really think that this is really more of a dialect of a language than an actual language, having thought about how SR sees languages and how easy it is to communicate freely in sign language (pick up the 26 signs for the alphabet and you can sign almost as fast as you can speak). Which is beyond the "1 rank of language" that SR implies is extremely basic understanding ("show me to the bathroom," "I am thirsty," etc). It's closer to the dialects "specializations" for languages than its own language: a way of speaking, rather than a new vocabulary.

Not to mention that sign language has different signs in other base languages (its not universal--close, but not completely). However, I'd say that English (sign language) [N] can communicate with a Spanish (sign language) N by using the "specialization" dice as the skill pool on each side (eg. LOG+2 v. LOG+2, resolve as a normal language barrier) as the two do have a low level of common vocabulary between them.
