I'd rather have an app for my android phone than anything else. I do use homebrew apps on my DS, and while the dual screens and networking functions would be great at game time, I'd rather be able to pull out my phone while waiting somewhere and start rolling up NPCs and such for my next session.
So I guess I'd like to see a VR tabletop for my DS and a GM tool suite for my android phone. On a side note; I lurv my HTC Hero more than mudkips! |

Silly question, PC actually refers to Personal Computer, not to some other handheld device I don't own, right?

SRtable that you load stuff from external files (not a good behavior for a DS rom but well it can work.) I'll try to see how Android works and if my cellphone company can use them. Silly question, PC actually refers to Personal Computer, not to some other handheld device I don't own, right? PC as is IMB compatible computer. I have 16 gigs of storage in my blackberry, and, I suppose I could use a dice roller on it, or even an NPC generator, but I use my (PC)laptop almost exclusively for portable development and game management and I'm never without it (2 terabyte portable Ext HD, car charger, portable surge protector, 2 extra batteries, MORE POWER! Hehe, it gets it's own bag.) It's a nice thought though, I just prefer the bigger screen and a real processor for any major use. My blackberry is mostly a pic, mail, message, MP3, GPS (though I honestly prefer a map book), App games for momentary downtime, address book, planner, shopping list, and reminder kinda thing.

I love my G1, I have a DS but would not buy an RS4 for an app. I would like to see a VR tabletop for my PC. |

I know I'm old-fashioned, but I still use a laptop for all my computerized SR needs.

I would love to have a virtual table top for SR. Ever since I moved I haven't been able to play SR and my home group hasn't played outside of my infrequent visits home.

I think a phone app would be awesome for SR. The ability to show a limited display about characters and such would be very nice. I own a DS but if there was a DS app, I would not use it. I already have my phone and laptop with me and wouldn't care to also bring my DS. Also not everyone I play with has a DS but everyone I play with has a phone. I think tools created for PC would be the most widely used by far.

ds apps are usable with a wifi enabled emulator and pc (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Anyway I have to tell that the DS app I'm doing is getting a big project the scrum analyse is nearly finished.

Ok, it won't let me vote. I'd vote for developing Tools for an iPhone or computer, though with the new iPad coming out later this year, I'd lean more to the iPhone/pad than a computer since it will be easier to take with me than my laptop--and won't take as much space behind the gm screen.
When it's done, make sure to post it here to advertise. |

It wouldn't let me vote either. I would also vote iPhone/iPad since I own an iPhone and will be getting an iPad as soon as I can.
Another, and possibly better option would be to make device independent web applications, as long as they look good. And I stress as long as they look good... there are some really shoddy web apps out there... -abetterway |

The most mobile I can go is either a desktop (library) or the Samsung Q1 Ultra.
