If you know about a convention that is hosting SRM events, make sure to post it here - not everyone goes to check out the convention listings elsewhere here on Dumpshock....

We are running the first two modules at Foundation Con for March.
CARP at Foundation-Con March AFAIK, it should be up. If not, someone let me know, and I'll yell at them. |

For Anyone in the Hohenfels/Grafenwohr/Regensburg region of Germany (Anyone welcome) let me know you're interested in Missions and I'll look into Running/Getting it run near you.
I'm located in Hohenfels, personally, and have already set up a few dates to run Mission Briefing, in addition, I'm working on getting a section of time @ a gaming store in Regensburg to run Missions as well. For anyone in Munich, I've also been in touch with a store down there as well, but they don't have the space for a table in store. I'm not a native speaker, and my German is pretty limited, so any games I run will be in English. However, if there's anyone else in this area of Bavaria that's interested in helping/playing - Drop me a line at sickdawg0@lycos.com (it's Sickdawg(ZERO) not O). From what I've seen so far, Shadowrun is incredibly popular in Germany - second only to Die Swartz Age - It's surprising that I haven't seen more German Dumpshockers - Get in touch folks, let's get something rolling. |

Man, it's been a while since I was here. Apparently a lot has transpired in my absence. First, I would like to say that I am really looking forward to the Shadowrun Missions. It is an outstanding idea, and despite some apprehension about how it will be run (anticipating the usual bugs and kinks in an endeavor of this magnitude) I am most certainly hyped for it.
My major question and concern is, will there be a centralized forum/location/website where we can all go to keep up to date on the various SRM events that will held, and/or a place where we can try to get in touch with other players so we can run home SRM events if we cannot go to conventions? (Apologies for the long sentence) Additionally, will there be a place that will keep us up to date on the relevant SRM information? Checking out the Official Shadowrun Website, it was woefully inadequate. It was not until browsing through several of the Dumpshock posts that I felt I had a handle on the process. I would hate to miss out on something like, say, an online SRM game, simply because I was unable to locate that information in time to participate. Please note that these are not complaints, and should not be taken as such. Rather, they are concerns that I have as an excited member of the Shadowrun community who would like very much to see SRM succeed, and to be a part of it when it does. I’m looking forward to watching SRM come to life, and hopefully, getting a chance to play with other longtime Shadowrun enthusiasts. Who knows? Maybe I’ll even see some of you out there… |

you found it!
this is the "official" forum for the campaign where the most up-to-date info will be held... the website is fairly static, although i hope to change that soon...it is basically there to be a reference and get people interested...since you're here, it worked! :) any events such as online games will be announced here...well, in this forum, not necessarily this thread....you know what i mean... |

unfortunately, as i mentioned elsewhere, there will not be any SRM at Origins this year (unless it is a pickup game)...
this is my fault - i missed the deadline - it was already passed a week by the time i checked on it... FanPro now has a Convention Manager that takes care of organizing and scheduling of events for the big cons like Gencon and Origins, so this won't happen again. |

OK, here are some conventions coming up where I'll be running SRM events:
OASIS - Orlando FL - May 28-30 Radisson Hotel see www.sunquestgames.com for more info I'll be running "Pot Luck" - no, that's not a new adventure. Depending on what players I get at the table will decide which adventure I run. This will be offered at 2PM and again at 7PM on Saturday (May 29). Each table will have a different adventure chosen from the first three adventures. This will probably be your last chance to catch the early adventures in the Orlando area. DreamCon - Jacksonville FL - June 11-13 Adam's Mark Hotel see www.dreamcon.net for more info I'll be running more "Pot Luck" - right now i'm tentatively scheduling sessions for Saturday (June 12) at 9AM, 2PM, and 7PM and one slot on Sunday (June 13) at 9AM. Once again they will be chosen from the first three adventures. For those in North Florida and Southern Georgia who didn't get an opportunity to get down to Orlando, this is a great chance to squeeze in these early adventures. |

That's it! I made my decision. I will start running Shadowrun Missions games in Montreal, Quebec. Just to get the pace of the game, I will begin by running the first mission to my home group, just to see how the system works. I will also try to run it as an online game for a second group. As I see how things work, I will then organize scheduled Missions game at my local stores!
If anyone would be interested to do mission SRM1 online in french, just contact me at milhouse46 - hotmail.com. By doing some online Missions games, I would be able to see how we could implement an online system for Missions, to which I would be interested to volunteer. This system looks very promising, and I'm ready to volunteer a lot to make this project a success! |

What's the word on DragonCon this year? Their gaming schedule is not up yet, and I was hoping I could find out whether there will be some SR Missions goodness to which I can look forward.
Thanks for the info. Robert (aka, Satin) |

hopefully, one of the atlanta commandos will respond to this better -
i know that SRM00-04 A Fork In Fate's Path will be making its debut for sure. I think the plan is to have ALL FIVE demo events running at DragonCon...IF they can get the GMs for it... |

As far as I can tell, we've got GMs for all the scenarios for DragonCon. I'm scheduled to run Briefing and Dark & Stormy my own self. RT, the ATL Commando is also running 5 sessions, and I belive that we've got at least one other GM who's running his own SRM module.

Modules 1,2,3 & 5 are available from the Command HQ download area. #0 seems to have fallen off, though. As for #4, I'll let Rich grumble about that...
