I need a super fun image for my Avatar, and my favorite SR image has always been the Crazy German Shadowrunners on a Wagon. I can see it in my mind, just can't find it in the books- I could have sworn it was in the Germany Sourcebook (but it's not!).
Where is it? Helps? |

Are you referring, perhaps, to the image captioned, "Publicity still from the cinéma vérité/absurdist drama Wunderkrieg, starring Spiny Vic and the Wonkers, German Satellite Television," and credited to Jeff Laubenstein, on the fourth page of the art insert in SR2?

That's a great picture. I know not everyone was a fan, but I miss Jeff's work.

This thread implies that one can upload a custom avatar, but I cannot find the link to do so.
How does one get a custom avatar ? |

Yea Jeff's stuff was fun. It wasn't usually as gritty but had its own flare, especially his trolls and similar types. I too would like to know about custom avatars.

I figured that since Bull's Avatar looked unique and distinctive, that custom uploads are possible. But I'm not seeing the link either. Anyone know for sure? |

I guess admins are free to use their own avatar.

Standard users can only use the available graphics for avatars. CGL employees seem to often use the company logo to denote their dev status when posting. Admins can use whatever they want because they are admins... I just happen to resemble an angry redheaded dwarf from official art, so I lucked out (in a way). |

There was talk some time back about people who donate to keep the servers running getting to chose their own avatar . . but that idea died off pretty quick, if i remember correctly.

That's a great picture. I know not everyone was a fan, but I miss Jeff's work. A lot of it was very good, just that the man couldn't seem to do realistic noses to save his life. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |
