I bought Burnout Paradise on Impulse (which, while it lacks some of Steam's polish, is still a decent app in its own right) earlier today. I have learned that it really needs a gamepad to be enjoyed to the fullest. There simply is no substitute for analog steering (and preferably analog braking and acceleration as well).
So, who makes a good gamepad for a PC? |

I bought one (a "Dilong") for 2 euros in Hong Kong. I could have gotten two for 3 euros, but I didn't want to push my luck that far.
It looks and behaves exactly like a Dual Shock, complete with rumbling. It works fine with Windows' default USB Gamepad drivers and still works fine three years after purchase (I don't use it very often though). |

If you like the X-box 360 controller, Microsoft sells a USB wireless adapter so you can use that on your PC.
