Help me Dumpshock, you're my only hope.
Does anyone have or have a link to all the old Virtual Seattle adventures? The link to Wizards is dead.

I'll ask Bitrunner, who was heading up Virtual Seattle (ANd headed up Season 1 of the Missions program). I'm not sure how the RPGA stuff was handled, but if the adventures were all copywritten to them, it's entirely possible they're no longer available.

Well, it's also possible depending on circumstances that they have/will drift into the public domain, especially if the Coastal Wizards are complacent. I haven't paid much attention to them since the 4th Age began and it got to be normal to see dragons and gnols and rakshasa as player characters in a Remembered Realm that I no longer recognize. I really miss the Realms they seem to have Forgotten. *wink*

There is a list at http://rpggeek.com/rpgseries/19056/virtual-seattle, but I've only been able to find 4 of the adventures on the net. Those 4 are also detailed on the list.

In all my digging around over the years, I've only managed to gather six VS adventures. It probably does not help that for much of the campaign's existence, adventures were not distributed electronically, but mostly photocopied and physically mailed. This was before widespread internet access, remember.

A Leg of Hope by Jason Reynolds
Disappearing Act by Stephen Gabriel
Once Upon A Time by Rich Osterhout
Star Fire by Nick Perch
Out for Blood by Steven Kenson
By the Light of the Silvery Moon by Scott Spencer (3rd Edition)

All of them have a Copyright notice indicating the non-trademarked adventure content as belonging to the respective authors, so you'd have to contact each one to obtain distribution rights, and even then strip out the trademarks first.

I sent an email to Steve Kenson, to see if I can get my hands on his. I actually had the pdf once, and apparently lost it in a drive crash.

What would be REALLY nifty is a "Missions 2050" short run campaign for Shadowrun Missions, using the new 2050 rules.

You'd obviously need to create new characters to play in the campaign, but it would be really kick ass if you also had a mix of revamped Virtual Seattle events as well as newly written Missions.

Asked Steve, and he said that http://www.rpgarchive.com/index.php?page=adv1&advid=222 was the adventure he sent to RPGA, and he does not know how they changed that adventure to suit the VS campaign.

I would love to get my hands on the actual VS adventure, so I could compare to two versions.

What I got is the PDF that Steve had. It's not the same as the one published, but I'm not sure how much has been changed. I know the bad guy is named Karl Stanislaw, rather than Vlad Malkovich. I wouldn't be comfortable passing it out, as he didn't say it was OK. I guess I can write him again if it's a big deal.

Greetings..

Over the last couple of years I've been interested in collecting RPGA stuff, and con stuff in general.. for example, Living City, Living Jungle etc and of course Virtual Seattle.. Usually I will concentrate on one "living collection" for a little, trying to collect ones I'm missing, finding moire info of what I'm missing before moving on to the next little collection..

Anyway its been Virtal Seattle week for me.. and here is the list of my collection.. 44 modules.. does anyone else collect any other RPGA stuff at all??

Thanks

Brette:)

I used to collect Living City, but when I stopped with AD&D I sold off all my AD&D material, including everything LC, and back in those days they were (badly) photocopied copys.

As I said before, it would be lovely if the authors could be contacted to see if they'd be willing to allow the use of the material for Missions.
