Any GMs/groups in the Raleigh / RTP area looking for players? I'm good with joining a group that plays over Skype as well (Skype + ScreenMonkey Lite is actually fairly nice).

there is a new local game store in Raleigh (Game Theory) that is using meetup for organizing the games there(www.meetup.com/game-theory), and a few people have shown interest in shadowrun (GMing or otherwise). you may want to look there.

I am also looking for a Shadowrun group, though I live about 45 minutes east of Raleigh, in Rocky Mount. Good luck to us both.
