And maybe some gyromounts? It is a boat after all, and while it's not likely to get really choppy, the combined recoil, waves and possible movement (i.e., running) would all be reduced by a gyromount.

If we have any heavy weapons on the ship, sure, though otherwise it seems kinda weird firing a pistol or whatever from a gyroscopic mount.

How we gonna explain *that* to the authorities? "Oh, that's for my precision fishing pole."

That actually would work for a simple ring mount. Have you seen the insanity some fisherman employ for mounting their rods?

Like Penta's said before, if we get boarded there's already a big problem. Finding stuff inside shouldn't be too much of a concern.

I don't really think that would be a problem to justify.

Looking at some of the sea paranormals in Running Wild, you could possibly need some sort of heavy weapon to fend off hostile critters.

I don't see how that would justify an LMG or something though. Maybe a harpoon or small security drone?

Storm dolphins can attack in large groups, you'd need something that can put out a high rate of fire.

Megalodons and kraken definitely require heavy weapons to drive off.

The harpoon or small security drone doesn't cut it.

The Classique is expected to have security on it also as per the Arsenal fluff entry.

I'm all for the Socratic method, but we are taking a long-arse time... I'm going to look over all the suggestions and do up Mk. II, and let's see if we can all be happy enough with it to actually proceed and play, eh.

I'm happy with DH's suggestions, and would like mine to also be considered. Also, having some spare guns, ammo, and med kits might be a good idea. Should we spring for a Valkyrie module? Do we want rigger cocoons for the hackers?

Heh, just found out how broken Flotation is when you consider it's available for all vehicles, including mini- and microdrones, but it still takes four slots. Surely you could just put a small float underneath it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grinbig.gif)

Speaking of your vast intelligence (IMG:style_emoticons/default/notworthy.gif) , I need a ruling for the Prejudiced Quality. Would you say no if I took it for magicians, and would they be common or uncommon?

I'd say...Go ahead, seems common enough in canon, but they're common in the shadows.
