Been listening to some tunes on YouTube, and 'got me thinking. Has anyone here ever played ye ol' Lords of Magic game? Was released during the Windows 95/98 era, I believe, I'm a bit too lazy to look it all up. Sierra made it I think, as a new spin on their popular Lords of the Realm series (which was frickin' awesome).
So has anyone here tried it? I loved Lords of Magic, wasted years of my life on this game, especially during high school (It was a little old for a game back then, but eh). Choose different factions (''Faiths'') Each corresponding to a natural element (Fire, Water, Air, and Earth) or to an arcane element (Life, Death, Chaos, and Order). Turn-based strategy for the most part, and combat was a mix between real-time and... somethin' else, really.. just pausing in battle to assign new orders and the like. Thoughts? Comments? Bananas? |
