"Horror" is code for "demon" in general, not just the Cthulhu mythos (which is just one small fraction of what the Horrors entail). Making pacts with demons has been something people have been doing since the dawn of time, at least in mythology and fiction if not reality. And it certainly happened in the 4th World, too.
Aztechnology itself isn't a cult. It's better to say that it's a corporate that's been "Horror-touched" and infiltrated by high-ranking, powerful magicians who dabble in those arts. The vast majority of the company is composed of regular, everyday people. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The SR3 book Threats eludes to the fact that Aztech's top guy is trying to bring back the Horrors. So the small minority are the ones running the show. |
