Well it would only have 3 shots for a normal human. However we're talking about troll sized here.

Nice. May I have permission to arm some criminals with that thing in my game?

So, Trolls. Maybe I completely missed the it earlier in this discussion, but there's a sweet little rule hidden on page 163 of Arsenal under "Recoil and Strength".

As for Troll weapons, well. I just started a game last week; my players are a Ukrainian SWAT team of sorts, and we have one Troll. (And a large, heavily cybered Ork.) They like Trolls in Europe, so I thought there should be some special weapons for them- and my ideas sound a lot like everyone else's. Not really too worried about player abuse. Fortunately, the ones that I may be less inclined to trust are playing characters too small to wield these damn things, not that they're entirely overpowered anyway:

-Wrote up a heavy pistol chambered for shot-shells, (which feed from a dual-column magazine, heh) which was designed specifically with Troll border guards in mind. They're usually loaded with gel rounds, but can accept pretty much anything.

-Also thought about the ways military designers would think- In the sixth world, there's things like advanced combat armour and hardened cyborgs to worry about- it seems appropriate that people would start thinking again about the merits of anti-materiel rifles. And with Trolls in the picture, these weapons suddenly become more versatile- and much more portable. So I also wrote up a sort of hybrid weapon which is basically a scaled-up M1 Garand- its en-bloc magazine is the size of a large brick.

That said, I'm kind of leaning in the direction that the extra flavor adds more than the special rules on individual weapons.

Pity, that Birdmans Weapon Systems are gone from the web . .
Not even the Archive has them anymore . . Basically, SMG sized .50BMG caliber weaons. And one .50BMG Single Shot Pistol.
That is what Trolls should be using.
