Obligatory introduction post.
Greetings from the Matrix, I'm Saint. I have been playing Shadowrun since 1998 or so. I remember my first character was a Elven Street Samurai who did not last long thanks to me still thinking like a D&D player at the time. (He got blown up by trying to turn in the head of a Corp hitman for a bounty, but the head had an active kink bomb in it.) I've come a long way over the past twelve years, I was part of the winning team in Gencon's Shadowrun open Tournament. i still have not gotten over my love of Street Samurai, but these days I GM more than play. this past week has been spent Devouring all the information in the Sixth World Almanac. I have recently moved to Colorado and am trying to organize a game as soon as i can find a reliable group. So... how about those Whiz BTL chips? |

Hey all,
I was only introduced to SR just over a week ago. I found this forum and have been busily reading everything I can find as well as all the books I could borrow. I decided to join as I've come to love the setting and system more and more the more I read. Sure it has issues but less than other systems I've played and it's just so very versatile and inherently fun. Can't wait for a game (and I hope my assumptions about this game are right!) ^^ So yes, I have an essence of 6 and am not a spambot. Oh, and Whiz BTL chips? |

Agreed, but it turns out by a twist of fate that I already know one of the Admins here personally.

I am not a robot.
I've been reading shadowrun since 1st ed, and playing irregularly since second, amusingly until getting this 20th anniversary edition, I never thought to look online until just now for a Shadowrun forum. |

If I am a spambot, the pay-per-click must be broken...
Hi All, I'm a previous SR3 player, although that was several years ago. New to SR4, and looking forward to giving it a try. Rich |

Hi everyone, not a spambot, or if I am, I've figured out the rules. I used to lurk around here back in the sr3 days, now I've just gotten into sr4 so I joined up here as soon as I could think up a cool enough username.

Declocking...
Hi... Been playing SR since 2050 (yes, late 89 early 90) and been on here on and off for years (since I don't have a stable group to play with for quite a while, and real life intervened). Been catching up on SR4 and all the wonderful things that have happened over the last 20 years... Logged on today for first time on months, and saw this, thought I better at least say, hey... And if any of you play airsoft and are ever on ASF, yes, I *am* the same Paisley Pirate. Cheers, Chummers! |

Well I play some airsoft; but I tend away from ASFs... AO is my lil home for airsoft!
So why did you have to take the clock down? Or is Declocking another activity (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grinbig.gif) |

I feel that "spambot' is a derogatory term, steeped in old time ideology, and does nothing more than promote the ignorance of current society.
Bots put in a hard days work, trying to make an honest living in the harshest condition, and its people like you that put a bad name on them. How would you feel if you went out, sold 100 tvs, and someone started calling you a mediawhore. All you were doing was putting in an honest days work. Greeters at big name department stores hand out fliers, and say 'welcome' but do THEY get called 'spambots'? i dont think so. so next time you think about throwing around negative slurs,.. maybe you should put yourself in their shoes. PS: I am not a spambot |

Nope. Why, thank you. Now it has been proven I am a real ferret, just masked. You can't tell whether I am magical or not. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grinbig.gif) |
