Hey, im new to the forums and first i want to know if this is the right place to post this question. Second (the question): is there a shadowrun 2e generator. On other forums there are many SR4 and even SR3 generators but no SR2 that i can find. Thanks a load (both for me using it and mi amigos).

You'd need the Shadowrun Archive for that, which is sadly defunct. But if you use the Wayback Machine, you can find old websites that sometimes still download. Here's the page I found.

Before the NSRCG, there was the SRCG!
No clue where to find it though... |

Using Cain's link I found this SRCG, last updated july 10 1997.
If you want you can even download the dos based version. |

Sadly, I can't get it to work on Windows 7 64 bit. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I did the dos box version and it didn't work. I am sure that you just cannot get it working in windows 7 64 bit. Using DosBox, I did an install of Win3.11 and downloaded SRCG.zip, SRCG28a.zip and VBRUN300.DLL (I put it into the SRCG directory) and...viola! It works. Yes, that was a lot of work to get a 12 year old piece of software to work. Just don't try to add an Adept power. It crashes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) SRCG.zip SRCG28a.zip vbrun300.dll I am not providing a link to windows_3.11.ISO -- it's not Freeware, so it would be against forum rules. |
