The Geneva Convention outlawed the creation of new bioweapons fruitcake, and existing stockpiles are steadily declining.

I should finish that AI Face I've been working on, but readying the doss for the team is taking up mein week.

Better hid the recipe I've been developing, then.

D'oh on the name. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rotfl.gif) Also no worry on the posting frequency. Real life is always first in line.

Akecheta (!) is firing a long narrow burst on target 1 and a short narrow burst on target 2:

Target 1, long narrow burst (+5 DV): Agility 7 + Automatics 8 + Smartlink 2 = 17 Dice
17d6.hits(5) → [4,5,1,1,2,6,1,3,1,6,4,5,4,3,1,4,3] = (4)

Target 2, short narrow burst (+2 DV): Agility 7 + Automatics 8 + Smartlink 2 - Recoil 1 - Second Target 2 = 14 Dice
14d6.hits(5) → [6,2,2,6,5,5,4,3,1,6,3,1,6,2] = (6)

The Praetor is loaded with Stick-N-Shock ammunition.

Alright, both shots are going to land on their respective targets. So we advance to a damage test correct? 6S base for S&S according to yon Shadowrun book.

Yeah damage for Stick-n-Shock is 6(e), plus net hits and burst modifier (+5/+2 for long/short respectively). They resist with body and half impact armor (rounded up).
Also they need to make a test with body+willpower+half impact armor with a treshold of 3 to not be paralyzed. Even if they make the test they are at -2 to all actions from there on.

Alright, yeah I just realized I didn't provide my end of the information.

Burst 1 had 2 successes on victim's Reaction.
Burst 2 had 3 successes on victim's Reaction.

So that would be..

Burst 1 : 13 Dice for Damage (6 +5 +2)
Burst 2 : 11 Dice for Damage (6 +2 +3)

If I'm understanding everything correctly, which is why I'm spelling it out to ensure I am. If you want to make your damage rolls I'll take care of my end.

I think you have a small misunderstanding here. Damage isn't rolled, there's only a damage resistance roll.
The weapon's base damage + net hits (+ modifiers like bursts) is the damage value they have to resist with body + armor (in this case half impact armor (rounded up) due to stick-n-shock).

Combat Mage:

Having ran PbP games before, I realize sometimes they can drag with a lot of "I need this roll from you" and waiting on each other. As a GM I want to ensure the game stays moving fluidly, so I will sometimes perform an action or make a roll for a player that I'm sure they would. In this case, I threw a Perception+Reaction roll for Akecheta to notice the thug laying in wait upstairs.

8d6.hits(5)=2

Not enough hits to notice him before he pulled the trigger.

Akecheta was just shot at by a thug with a shotgun, two hits on the attack roll. I'll let you handle your defense rolls and then we can restart combat.

9d6.hits(5)=2

I'm assuming I don't get a reaction roll to dodge since I didn't see him before he shot and subsequently wasn't aware of the attack.

Soak roll: Akecheta is in full combat gear (armor jacket, formfitting body armor (full body), full set of Secure-Tech PPP Systems and a helmet) which gives him ballistic armor of 18, including his natural troll armor.

I'd need the armor penetration value of the attack so I know how much armor to subtract. For now I'll assume -1 since that is the standard for shotguns, if he has loaded special ammunition or anything you can just subtract the corresponding dice from the end of my soak roll.

Body 9 + Bone Density 4 + Armor 17 = 30 dice
30d6.hits(5) → [5,4,3,5,6,1,2,6,1,6,1,3,5,2,3,4,2,2,3,1,4,6,2,5,4,6,2,3,6,6] = (11)

It's the standard -1, unmodified shotty. The round would've bounced harmlessly off of Akecheta. You can continue the post accordingly.

I assume an initiative roll for starting combat is in order?

Full narrow burst (+9 DV) at the mobster while running towards him/the door. (Complex Action: Full Narrow Burst, Free Action: Running)

Agility 7 + Automatics 8 + Smartlink 2 - Running 2 - Recoil 2: 13 Dice
13d6.hits(5) → [4,3,5,6,5,2,3,2,1,2,5,6,3] = (5)

Does anyone have an idle character at the moment? I'm fixing to continue a plot-line I'm developing with Combat Mage and would be happy to work in anyone that was looking for some action.

Yeah some company would be cool. Akecheta can't do all that thinking and planning by himself, just look at his mental attributes! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Edit: Question to unsound: You mentioned the money we get for weekly posting is an abstract reward for runs etc our characters are doing. Does that mean that payment for runs that are actually played out is just for fluff and we still get only the weekly rate of 2500 or is this rate only meant for the stuff the characters do in their 'off-screen' time and played runs are seperate payments?

SSS, I'm writing up the meeting to be on January 5th, let's assume at some suitable dive bar or nightclub. Shall we just assume that Dahlia replied to Seti's text sometime within the days between where you are in time, and where she is?

The former, and this also applies to karma. It's the simplest and most elegant solution I could devise to standardize karma and cash payments in a multiple GM game world, plus it means I get to be lazy 'cause I don't have to track run-time and downtime awards separately. Oh yeah, if anyone is interested, there's an administrative task that I need done that I could use some help with. Right now all the character sheets are copied and pasted straight as they were posted from their players - I want to unify them into a single format so they all display the information in the same way. They also need to be proofed to make sure that the characters are all legal. The character sheet I would like to use as the source reference is Dahlia's - in other words, I want to edit all the other sheets to look like hers. If you're interested in this task, please let me know here and I'll get in touch with you via PMs to coordinate. Compensation for the job will be 5 karma and 12,500 nuyen, as well as my gratitude. Yeah, I'll just rework some things with Red_Cap...we might could actually start surveillance on some of the targets, actually, if that's okay with him and unsound.
Also, I'm mostly typing this out for unsound and Red_Cap. Starship is actually going to be Internet-Free for the weekend, it's looking like, so I'll actually talk to her about stuff off-board. But, remembering my own undeclared absence earlier, I figured I would just tell people.
