Yeah, it was cumbersome to write "Physical Condition Monitor Boxes" out, so I just truncated it. I believe it...anything you would change to my second posting of the Doctor to make it in line with the desired format? Except adding a dec on the talismonger...which I'm too tired to do right now... |

We do need a mage over there. We've got a lot of muscle and not too much else. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wobble.gif)

This game interests me and I like to join in. I haven't finished up reading all the IC, but soon I'll be done with that too. I'll post the sheet soon as I gather up info of what's going on in the game. See you all soon. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Hiya, I was wondering if your team would like the services of a combat doctor. Triage is his name, and solving all your medical needs is his game. Everything from toxins, pathogens, battle wounds, plastic surgeries, cyberimplants, cybertech repair, and more! Sorry if I'm sounding like a commercial. His basic concept is a once well respected doctor who worked on many rich clientele until one day a Yakuza boss brought his daughter to him and wanted him to perform a relatively simple surgery on her. Sadly, due to an unknown condition the girl had, she died on the table. After that, Triage's rep was ruined by the yaks and he barely managed to escape with his life. Five years later, he's working the streets and is the ShadowDoc on call.

Stat him up and throw him in man. Unsound will need to approve it but this game always takes people as we are hypothetically supposed to have multiple storylines running.

Well, I shall submit him indeed! I have him on Myth-Weavers sheet storage thingy, so it's not formatted as a text block. If I need to do that, I can, but here's the link: Triage, Street Doc of the Stars! http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=236271
Edit: Woops, I just realized he uses some house rules from another campaign I submitted him to. I could fix him, or make something else. What's really needed currently? This post has been edited by Atomic Communist: Aug 29 2010, 10:40 PM |

We currently have a bunch of Street Sam oriented characters. But really it doesn't matter, pick what will interest you for awhile. And there is a template that unsound wants us to use for character submissions. Lemme find it for you. I'll edit the link into this post.

Thanks, Grimm. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The FAQ in the database thread has been edited to include the character template to make it easier to find. Any existing player who has some spare time and wants to lighten Abschalten's work load, feel free to convert your character to the template and send it to him.
Edit: As of this posting, he's completed Scar's sheet, so no need to do the same work twice there! |

I have to price tag all of it and then add it up. Scar's sheet didn't have much gear on it. PURELY BY COINCIDENCE, his was also the one I got done with first. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

Weekly awards posted.
Also, important news: I'm contemplating a story thread for this game that will eventually pit players against each other, which may lead to character death. I understand that while some people relish the unique challenge that only PvP can bring, others do not find it to be their cup of tea. This game uses all rules as written in the book, including the burning of Edge to survive otherwise lethal encounters, so death is not permanent as long as you have Edge to burn. This is what I will need from all of you: a declaration of whether to toggle your PvP flag on or off. If you have it off, it will be a signal to GMs that you wish to be excluded from all scenarios that involve a player-versus-player encounter. If you have it on, you're fair game for all such scenarios. If you turn on your PvP flag, you are expected to follow all standards of the code of honor intrinsic in such matters - for example, you should be able to separate player knowledge from character knowledge and not take advantage of information that you read in the IC thread that your character would not be privy to. Each character will have their own PvP flag status, which means if you're playing multiple characters, you can turn it on for some and leave it off for others. Edit: Actually, for all undeclared individuals, including new players, I'm going to set the default status of the PvP flag to off. If you wish to turn yours on, please contact me in this thread or via PM. |

Set mine to off as well. I understand you're going for some realistic interaction here but all it is going to take is one munchkin'd character to fuck up the game for other players, even with a choice to opt in. And personally, I don't know the rules well enough to participate against people that have been playing awhile.

You know I've wondered why Adepts get free points towards their abilities whereas Technomancers have to spend BP on complex forms. I'm sure there's a great reason why, I just don't see it. I hate spending a lot of my BP on programs (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)

I don't mind Seti being toggled On, but Grimm's point about munchkin'd characters bites a little true. So let's say, On with the condition that he's only thrown against characters he might have a chance against.

@Atomic Communist
I was going to reply to you in PMs but you're on Probation and can't use it yet. So I'm going to put what I was going to say to you here. You've spent too many points on your mental and physical attributes. They're adding up to 210 for Phys/Ment attributes. You can only spend 200. You also overcharged yourself on special attributes. 2 Edge for a human costs 0. 5 Resonance costs 40 BP, since the first point is free. So you've really only spent 250 points so far. But still, you are over 10. You could take a point from Body and move it into Edge, maybe. Or just drop it altogether. And why are you taking the technomancer quality for free? You've really only got an extra 5 BP, not 10 BP. If you really had taken 260 points of attributes you'd be over 5 points. Right now you are under 5 points. |

But I am willing to be toggled PVP on as soon as she's approved, hint, hint! And just to show how keen I am, I updated the correctly templated version to include mentor spirit and BP costs! |

Request for Unsound: Really enjoying the IC thread but having trouble keeping up with all the posts...is there any chance that the database could contain a list of story arcs, who is the GM and who is on them and perhaps a recruitment list too for those as yet without work and archetypes wanted?!? For example Silk needs a hacker or TM and whislt Abs looks like he'll provide an NPC to keep the story moving it would be great to have another player on our B&E job (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I'd also like to try my hand at GMing a scene or two as Emerging has gone quiet but have no idea who would like a scene writing for them...
Thanks A |
