For easy reference, just click the link in my sig. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Notsoevildm: You can start posting in the IC thread whenever you want. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Aria: Great points! Lemme stew on that a bit to figure out the optimal solution. For now, just use this thread to pick up players for your story threads. I think we've got a couple of new recruits who aren't up to anything. |

Agh, I'm so stupid! I wrote down Technoshaman, because it's one of the technomancer's streams that you can choose for free. I just completely forgot that Technomancer it's self is a 5 BP quality. Thank you for the tips. It's been quite a while since I made a character. I'll fix it and edit the original posting.
Edit: There, fixed. I dropped my body down and put it into edge, then bought the technomancer quality, and spent the remaining 5 BP on increasing my complex forms. This post has been edited by Atomic Communist: Aug 31 2010, 02:21 PM |

By the way, no one has to get my approval to start posting in the IC thread. You don't even need a character, you can just jump in and GM for people whenever you want. So if you've submitted a sheet and I haven't uploaded it to the database yet, you can still start playing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Ok...so is there a TM / hacker out there (even if not statted up yet...) who wants in on Abs 'steal a maglock' run? Silk could probably manufacture a reason to need someone else too if there's interest?
Is there anyone who wants a scene or two or even a whole run GMing for them? Looking forward to hearing from you all (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) A |

Looking forward to hearing from you all (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) A I'm just getting Copperhead up and running. But she's a mage, so not much help on your 'steal a maglock' run unless you need magical support, or healing. I would certainly appreciate having a GM for a scene or two (or even a whole run). My initial post left her wondering what happened to her boyfriend, Cutter, an ork street sam. I was planning to do another scene where he finally turns up, a bit shot/beaten up and she heals him up. However, an interested GM could get me involved in the getting attacked part (or anything else a devious GM might come up with). |

Only character even like that so far (that I know of) is Doc Chase, and he's taking his sweet time.

@notsoevildm:
Grimm is doing a scene/plotline for my character and were looking for additional player(s). My troll could use some company if you're interested. Copperhead and The Beast would be a funny couple of freakish-looking trolls. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

And it's always nice to have a big meat shield to hide behind, especially one that the bullets simply bounce of off. If nothing else we'll freak out the rest of Seattle. Options for an in would be Cutter finally getting back to the squat or calling me with news of a possible job, or I could hear of a possible job through my talismonger Lenny. |

...and have we lost AStarshipforAnts?
Also, my vacation starts Friday morning and goes to the 13th. I will not have access to email. Here are The Doctor's thoughts if I don't get to write them out... He will join Dahlia's team (for now). He will recommend tailing the marks to see if they have a routine where they can be easily grabbed. (I watch too much Burn Notice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) |

Notsoevildm: Going to go ahead and pull you into the plot with Akecheta. Let's do the TIIME WAAARP again. Thanks for pulling me in Grimm but I've just gone back 3 days in time. I'll adapt my initial post to fit and write up a new one tonight that gets me on my way to the location. As for my indepth knowledge of 4E, it's probably about as good as yours. I have played (and GMed) a lot of SR, particularly 3E so am reasonably familiar with the setting, just about 10 years out of date. EDIT: Temporal flux corrected. Time streams back to normal. Wait, that should be the Doctor's line. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

I just finished my TM. I'd like to go, if you still need one. Aria's correct, Silk needs a hacker or a TM on her run. If you're down for getting into the fun, we can arrange it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

More as an exercise with the magic rules (as I am not very familiar with them), Copper will try and summon an air spirit to get to the warehouse quicker:
Summoning roll for Force 3 air spirit: summoning 2 + magic 3 = 5d6.hits(5)=0 Force 3 spirit opposed test: 3d6.hits(5)=1 Resist drain: 2 x spirit's total hits = 2S: willpower 5 + charisma 3 = 8d6.hits(5)=2 No spirit answers, but no drain taken. Looks like she has to hoof it: Running test, defaulting to strength: 4d6.hits(5)=0 - hope this means I get some good rolls later! No successes. Fatigue rules say you can jog for (body+hits)x2 minutes before taking 1 point of stun damage (fatigue), so Copper can jog for about 12 minutes before taking any. Means she would arrive with a box or two of stun but should get there a bit faster. |

Sorry about dropping off the map there for a few days; I had to get my educational ducks in a row.

Sorry about dropping off the map there for a few days; I had to get my educational ducks in a row. Word, I'm doing some of that myself. I'm juggling like three PbPs (including this one) while going to school and working, both full time. I keep pretty busy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Silk [15:37 January 1st, 2072; Ravenna Park, Downtown Seattle] He-Who-Sees-Within nodded to Silk and gave her a polite smile. "Indeed. There's a sort of coffee shop turned jazz lounge not a couple of blocks from here, called Common Grounds. It has a pleasant, ah... flavor in astral space that I enjoy being around. Many young, bohemian-style hipsters and college kids go there to recite poetry on open mic night, or just chill out. It's probably my favorite place to relax. We could go there. There's a booth all the way in the back where we'd have the privacy to discuss our business arrangements. And, I'll buy of course." ((Make an Intuition+Charisma roll)) 9d6.hits(5) → [2,4,3,1,1,3,5,6,1] = (2) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohplease.gif) A |

Get yourself a character concept, stat him or her up and start posting...looks like we don't even need formal approval of a character to start the ball rolling... The 2072 database on Unsound's sig has a list of the current characters for reference (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Enjoy! A |

@Grimm: Copperhead's moderate allergy to sunlight is a nasty -4 dice to tests, so she is sticking to the shadows as much as possible to avoid taking any penalties.
Trying to sneak up on Akecheta: Agility (3) + Infiltration (2) = 5d6.hits(5)=0 LOL, Aka's not the only one that can't sneak! I think Invisible Castle is out to get me. |

I'm not really sure how to start IC. Do I just post what my character is currently doing? I'm not just gonna pop into someone elses game, that would be rude! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nyahnyah.gif)
