My turn to be confused. I thought it was a rotodrone, not a helicopter. Combat heli's give me flashbacks to the Scottish adventure, Imago.
However, in this case it might make things easier. Initiative (6) = 6d6.hits(5)=3 = 9 Copperhead's action will be to set the beast spirit on the heli's pilot. She'll take Cutter's word that trying to intimidate the goon isn't worth it, especially as she doesn't have Intimidation as a skill. She will keep the shotgun pressed into his chest for now though. |

Actually that's why I clarified. I had a mental image of what it was but didn't double check to verify what I was thinking of matched the physical description. I believe I've called it rotocraft or rotorcraft the entire time though. Anyways, my fault on that.

Not sure this is the thread to ask but I saw your 'recruitment always open' and thought I'd ask to join.

Yup you got the right thread. You can find character creation rules and other pertinent information about this game in the following Database thread. Please do not post in that thread.

Inititiative:
Intuition 2 + Reaction 7 = 9 Dice 9d6.hits(5) → [2,6,5,5,6,2,6,6,4] = (6) = 15 I'm not sure if you can fire grenades at an airborne target - I think in my case yes as The Beast has an airburst link which means he can detonate them anywhere in the air. Free Action: Eject clip Simple Action: Load a clip with HE-Grenades Simple Action: Fire at the heli 10d6.hits(5) → [6,4,5,3,3,5,1,6,2,6] = (5) |

Pretty smooth, Beast and 6 phases ahead of me! Although, I do think it's kinda funny how slo-mo action equates to super fast reactions in the movies these days. Guess the Matrix is to blame for that. |

Combat Mage, you lucky bastard. If I would've scored one more hit on my Pilot+Handling that grenade would've sailed straight past it.
Notsoevil, if you want to take another action before I advance the round that's fine. I think communication is considered instantaneous anyways if you want to issue another command to the spirit. |

Not much I can do, so advance away. Beast still has a couple of IPs to shoot at it if need be and Cutter would have at least one more too. Also, looks like the heli seems to be breaking off anyway, so my only concern now is how it found us. |

I'm not really sure what's going on with my scene. I believe I'm still waiting on someone to reply. I know Aria (Silk) is there, but she's on vacation. There should be one more person there, right?

[07:34 AM, January 2nd, 2072; An Unmarked Warehouse; Redmond] The Doctor added, "And there is any way to obtain the astral signature of the mage, I'd appreciate it. It would provide an additional lead for us. Or if there is a material link on hand, we could try to look for him that way." Doctor: Did you accidentally copy the wrong T/L tag, or are you involved in that other scene, too? |

@Atomic Communist
Been absent for a few days. My bad. I'm looking to get things rolling again. I understand that Aria is away for a while, so we'll let you do any legwork or research you'd like to do on the target. Aria would have ICly given you the rundown. And you have He-Who-Sees-Within at your disposal as well. If you'd like you can proceed ICly, advancing the timeline to some point after the meet at the coffee house. I'll provide you with GM guidance and storyline progression as normal. |

No problem, Doc, we all do stuff like that every once in a while.
I know we have full med data on all the targets, but I don't know if that will include, say, a blood sample. I think unsound is still a-traveling, so we can't even ask him. |

@Combat Mage, Notsoevildm: I'm going to update tomorrow whether or not CM has posted by then to keep the game moving. I think I'm also going to split my story-line off into a separate 2072 Thread to help keep confusion down. Characters will still be considered as part of this game and can move back and forth when need be. It'll just make it easier for us to keep track of the respective storylines since we have so many players involved.
@DaedalusK71: I see you've posted your character but for some reason I always end up fucking up the math on generation because I'm not familiar enough with it yet. Someone else will have to give it a once over for you and then we can figure out where to get you slid in. |

@CM: You don't need to apologize, RL is RL. I've just ran many PbP games in the past and know if you spend too much time waiting on everyone people lose interest and the game pisses out. When it comes to this I don't put any further negative circumstances on the character, and if the person is gone for a week unannounced I just write them out for the time being until they come back or otherwise.
Just easier for everyone that way. |

a little clarity...
QUOTE Due to the unique nature of this game, karma and nuyen will be awarded based on activity, at the rate of one karma point and ¥2500 per week. The award is abstract, and represents all the experience and money you earn for going on runs as well as any downtime activity. If you've done something in 2072 that week, whether that be making a post as a GM or a player, or writing any kind of scene, you will be eligible to receive that week's karma and cash award. Only in-character posts count towards an award. Karma and cash are distributed on Mondays every week. Is this a base or static? By this I mean, can your earn more karma by going on runs / performing other tasks or regardless of what you do you get 1 karma and 2500 nuyen? |

Players participating in my game, I have split my story's thread off to a new thread. Please follow it there. Your characters are still part of this campaign world, I'm just doing this to make it easier on everyone to keep track of everything.
